It's worse since he knew she didn't want kids and acted as if she was exaggerating. And then had the audacity to tell his own sob story of why he wants kids after basically mocking the FL's worries about having kids.
Dude, I started reading this really liking it. A financially independent FL, doesn't want children, and doesn't make a big deal about casual s*x. However I wish her wanting to remain childless wasn't rooted in parental trauma or whatever and just a decision for herself. But then the ML forces himself on her without protection, and then gets mad at her for having a nervous breakdown for an unwanted pregnancy. What? I also hated how he made it seem bad that she was putting her job over his own selfish wants, are you serious?
