REPOST! SPOILER FROM THE NOVEL (MODIFIED)

Tiffany December 28, 2020 2:39 pm

if you don't want to know, don't read it...

Well, I decided to modify the old post because some things happened.
The empress's brother is a troublemaker. And you're going to start investigating Trashta's past. Hence, he discovers some things and kidnaps Viscount Roteschu. He tortures him (takes his ear off if I remember correctly) and the Viscount opens his mouth saying that Trashta was his slave and that she has a bastard son with a nobleman. It just doesn't say that the nobleman in question is the son of the Viscount. Then, with this information, he informs the empress somehow and the emperor learns somehow too. Only the emperor thinks that Trashta's son was taken out of her arms and feels sorry for him and thinks she is a poor thing. In that sense, the emperor exiles the brother of Navier.
Concomitant with this, Heinley receives a letter stating that his brother, the king, is dying and is forced to return to his reign. The king dies and Heinley takes the throne. As he is very busy, he sends his blue-haired adviser / friend to contact Navier and keeps thinking about her, even though his friend says he needs to choose a queen soon.
Alone, Navier continues to do its duties. Each time, the emperor asks the queen to recognize his son, accusing her several times that the queen is infertile, since they have been married for a long time and so far have had no heir.
Well, then, the business sucks for good. The wretched Emperor, with the Navier's numerous refusals, then decides to divorce the Empress. However, his plan is as follows: divorce the empress, leave Trashta in power for a year so that his son can become a prince (at least that's what I understood).
The empress ends up listening to the conversation and knowing that the situation is complicated, she begins to think of a plan.
In order to file for divorce, it is necessary to talk to the High Priest who blessed the union. That is precisely what the Emperor does.
Then, the High Priest comes to the palace. The Empress is already aware of the visit and even knows what matter will be dealt with. The High Priest asks the Emperor to rethink, but the Emperor is not possible because he knows that the Empress is infertile.
The High Priest questions how he knows and the Emperor replies that when they were small, both he and the Empress ate, hidden, cookies that the previous Empress (the Emperor's mother) had prepared.
However, these cookies contained poison that caused abortions to be miscarried and caused infertility. And these cookies had been prepared for a concubine who was pregnant with the previous emperor.
That is, the empress ate the cookies and, in the words of the emperor, does not know that she is infertile due to the cookies.
The emperor confesses to the High Priest that he thought they were both infertile because of the incident. However, with Trashta she was pregnant, he thought the poison had an effect only on the empress and not on him.
In one of her exits from the palace (there is a whole context of her leaving, but we must pay attention to the most relevant facts), Navier meets Heinley. And he mentions that he would like to find a wife like the empress or rather, that she, the empress, be his queen (Heinley's kingdom is a kingdom, not an empire).
The empress has already released one: Would you like to marry me?
And he soon accepts. But he finds it strange why she wants to marry him, because, you know, she is married. She says she will tell him everything in letters.
Back in hell, the empress continues to receive the blue bird (Heinley's friend, with blue hair) and the emperor begins to suspect and discovers that Heinley and the Empress are communicating. To avoid this, he orders that any bird that is prowling the Empress' room must be killed.
To get an idea of the horror that will be, the empress will try to put a warning for the blue bird. The blue bird will confuse the signal and try to enter, being hit. The blood and blue feathers will be seen near the window and the empress will find that the bird has been slaughtered. Then, the Emperor will send a roast bird dish to the Empress. She looks horrified and tells him to leave. He feels bad about it. Do you know what the idiot does? He presents the Empress with a blue bird.
She has the bird returned to his quarters. Trashta sees and takes the bird for herself. With the bird in the room, this madwoman begins to pull the bird's feathers and hide in the room. Then, when the emperor arrives, she cries and says she felt sorry for the bird. That she saw the bird that the emperor had given the empress to arrive that way and that she felt sorry for him. This woman is crazy!
But the blue bird was not dead. The duke, a friend of Prince Heinley, will rescue the bird and be one of the intermediaries of communication between the empress and the now King Heinley.
Meanwhile, Trashta realizes that she is no better than the empress (did anyone have any questions?). Then the duke, the friend of Heinley's, will say that if she wants to beat the empress, she must study to be better than she. Then, she begins to study and is accompanied by the emperor. And he starts comparing her to Empress LOL. He tells Trashta that she should decorate a book in a week and she says that is impossible. He replies that the Empress did it in two days, making Trashta angry.
Trashta continues to make plans against the empress, always showing the emperor how cute and good she is while the empress is cold and mean. She continues to pay Viscount Roteschu and borrow money from the duke, Heinley's friend.
Well, the day comes when the emperor will make the empress humiliated: the day of the divorce. He claims that the empress attacked his son and other things to the High Priest. The High Priest, who had previously spoken to both emperor and empress, previously and separately, asks the empress whether she would accept the divorce or file a lawsuit in which she tried to defend herself against the charges. She says she accepts and asks the High Priest to approve her second marriage. At that moment Heinley appears, saying: now is it my turn to enter?
The High Priest is amazed, but he blesses the marriage and the Emperor is angry. He tries everything so that the empress does not leave the country, locking her and Heinley in her parents' house. He's a huge son of a bitch. He even tries to see in the old laws and records whether there was a possibility of annulling the empress's second marriage. As far as I read the novel, Navier and Heinley manage to escape with the help of the duke (friend of Heinley). If my memory serves me correctly, he brings the carriage under the pretext of visiting Heinley and Navier. Then, at the back of the house, Navier enters the compartment where the seats are, while Heinley and the Duke enter the carriage. The carriage is searched and all they see is the Duke and Heinley. The emperor's order is that Heinley could return to his kingdom as long as Navier stayed in the empire. The guards see that the Navier is not in the carriage and allow them to continue their journey. And this is how Navier and Heinley manage to leave the empire.
Anyway, it's a roller coaster of events ...

Sorry for grammar mistakes. English is not my mother language and in writing, It is rusty...

It had something to do with the Emperors dad (I forget the details), but since the dad wasn’t around he decided to get revenge via the Emperor. His original plan was to get close with the Empress but decided to go with rashta instead.

Some people have already expressed their opinion on this, but I think that it fits my vision when reading the novel. In my opinion, I believe the duke came at Heinley's request. I imagine Heinley had been interested in Navier for a long time. Just remember the first chapters of Manhwa, in which the Empress receives a letter in which the sender is drunk. So it is no wonder that, seeing Navier suffer on account of Trashta, he asked his friend to discover the rotten concubine that makes his beloved suffer so much humiliation.
