For now, as far as I know the format didn’t change and mangas on webcomics platforms are short most of the time. You can find some mangas on t a p a s too.
The only platform that goes into the direction you are describing is c o o l m i c : the chapters are way shorter (and in a scrolling format by the way)
I’m not a fan of their contents (it’s mostly pointless porn) but the webcomic longer format works when it comes to story like this one:

Basically when there is an adventure, game-like plot or subplot, I can enjoy a long and more “dragged-on” story.

.it seems some manga are getting published in lezhin..? So do they follow digital only format and will not have print format Somewhere else?
I hope it's just me but what I really don't like in manhwa is that it has so little develpoments in each chapter thus making them sooo looooong and I hope that doesnt happen to digital format manga getting published in those korean digital reading sites. I admire manga because they can deliver a whole satisfying story even in just one volume(1-4/5 chapters).
**But art-wise I'm also happy to see in greater detail the beautiful art of our mangakas..
