I've seen some of the ongoing manga i'm following notify me a day after they are updated.
for that I think it's normal. I don't have a big comprehension of a web system but I know that those kind of notification are done like twice a day at a specific time or something like thant

Everyday I come here and and search for yaoi by update to see if any of the one I like ( and i like a lot) have new up date... but I discover that they don't all appear there (￣Д ￣)
