My take on why this guy keeps the tattoo is because he wants to keep it as memento of what he has gone through in life. According to me this guy's a little fucked in the head and it's not just because of the molestation. From the starting he is a person who lacks feelings like pain, disgust, sorrow. You can say that the threshold of his feeling all these feelings are far more higher than average. He accepts almost everything without complaining. Even though he was not into sm yet he played sadist just for hanada because he does like him. We can say the same for the uncle. He "liked" the uncle, not in the sexual sense but just as a child would like their parents. After his mother died he only had his uncle left. And as he lacks all these emotions he just accepted everything that uncle turned crazy pedo/molester did to him. For him, although it was a dark phase of his life yet it was still with someone whom he once "liked". This is just my theory you can disagree ofc. Thanks if you read it so far.
