So Gakusen Toshi Asutarisuku?

Seriously though, it's basically Gakusen Toshi Asutarisuku. So check out that too if you like this. I mean I don't really care if they copied Gakusen Toshi Asutarisuku, even if

1. Both MC's are uber elite swordsmen
2. Both MC's lack the ability to use uber awesome magic and must rely on their combat sense and sword skills
3. Both MC's have an ultimate mode where they unleash super quick and awesome power but only for a short time, and with a cooldown.
4. Both MC's love interest is a red-haired foreign princess from a small country.
5. Both princesses are fire users with a hot temper trying to do the best for their country.
6. Both princesses develop a respect for the MC.
7. Both MC's respect the princess.
8. There is a loli-ish childhood female that the MC knows.
9. MC's are friends with a shady stealthy person.
10. There are school rankings and multiple school 'battle festivals' for schools to compete with each other.
11. The student councils are OP and somehow command a crazy amount of power over non school associations.
12. Both MC male and MC female must win the tournament to accomplish their own goals.
13. There seems to be a class war between the new generation of (Blazers/Genestella) vs the normal people.
14. MC has to bring another swordsmen girl out of being manipulated and becomes friends with her and trains with her.

I think there are more just straightup same plot points, but w.e. Its kinda told in a different way, and I love this kind of universe. Plus both light novels have a good decent number of chapters out! AND BOTH ARE ANIMES THIS SEASON.

Yep you are right! Even the anime started around the same time - almost like they are competing against each other

Well in Rakudai Kishi No Eiyuutan they start dating, and going out. But who knows whats going to happen in the future. Gakusen is harder to say, they like each other and compete on the same team, they even duo in one of the tournaments. But so far with the 7 volumes that are out, they have yet to officially start dating. Rakudai Kishi No Eiyuutan seems to focus more on the interaction between the two, where as Gakusen has more subplots dealing with the heroes sister (no it's no incest, she's MIA), the heroines home, the politics in the city, and other stuff. It's not as much of a romance light novel, but there are some romance undertones between the two main leads.
