They talked about being separated etc when they were kids, and the brunette is telling the blonde about what he's been doing since they've been apart. These guys clearly haven't seen each other in years.

At first I thought the blonde was dead but after reading it 3 times, and it doesn't make sense that the guy is leaving the grave with him and telling him to pack his things if he's talking to his ghost. Especially after talking about saving up money for him. Also it's a double grave, hinting at a marriage tomb so it's probably the parents' graves.

There aren't any hints that the blonde is dead except for that remark about the dad beating him until the end, but it doesn't specify what end they're referring to. Alcoholism is mentioned, so my guess is the mom was long dead and the son was taking care of his dad, while being abused until dad's death. I can see his dad suffering from mental illness, maybe liver cirrhosis or something and the son having to do everything for him while being screamed at and hit until dad passes away.
