I kinda disagree , bum no matter what happens is a coward to his very core . Same goes killing themselves , it take atleast some courage to just do it and I don't think bum would ever have the courage to do that himself .

The ending is just soo REAL , there's no winners in that situation , everyone's someone's victim. There's no such thing as "happy ending " just some raw consequences of your own actions and shortcomings .
I know it's a twisted topic , but the the story , characters , psychological dept and the way it's portrayed is an absolute gem .
