i personally avoid oc stuff bc i dont know enough about the character to really get into it

When the fanfic involves an OC that the author created i really just can't. Either because I don't really feel familiar with the oc or I dont want the said OC to be paired with my fav character. I (y/n) just want to be the one involved in the story, not some random unkown oc.

Sooooooooooo I just have a question.... cause idk if I’m the only one. When reading some fanfiction that isn’t character x character, ie. x reader, or x oc. Can you guys bare to read oc content? Like a character the author came up with paired instead of like y/n.
