I kept reading it further in the light novel...I still have it...I also thought she was lying but then further in the story he started killing civilians unnecessarily, they weren't even part of the story...he could've just ignored them like but bro killed a dude, then brought his chopped off head to his home, threw it infront of his father and sister, then killed the father and the after that even the sister...I love characters who don't hesitate to kill, sometimes there are collateral deaths of civilians, even that is fine...but this fucker went out of his way to kill them.....
