I have a feeling you're referring to the writing style of the author, which, by the way, is different for everyone. If a lengthy convo is what they believe is required to convey the emotion- that's what they will give. Besides, it's not like the story will run if you wait a little, right?

I don't think the best part is going to be in the next chapter, unfortunately. The chapter are way too short lol, the time for the punishment and the lamentation to happen and all the action that leads to the duke's visit to the priest are too much for the manhua.
