This might not be everyone's speed/cup of tea, but binge read this over 2 days and it is now one of my absolute favorites that I've read. The art is BEAUTIFUL. I wish we had more feel like it could've been longer.
Hoping for a side story about the Emperor. & that Author will pair him with Cortina! he v clearly is emotionally affected by/drawn to her paintings.
Maybe my manga imagination got the best of me, but I thought there might be more magic involved. Ex; Empress could've been manipulating or brainwashing the two men since they were children with it somehow (why Izar felt so strange about their first meeting)? The ending felt very rushed with plot holes.
Might be a reach, but would love to see if the "Empress's" child is actually the knight she hired son it would free the Emperor from her. + ik we didnt see his face, but his silhouette looked p like the Emperor. Give the man an out, lol.
what a shit ending. still pissed @his family for locking her up literally until an hour before her wedding. Tf?? Then it's just happy time? Nah dude, I wish she'd have ran at least for a bit, after her little bro visited. That way, the family would realize they fucked up. THEN give us a chase & reconciliation.
Sadly going to have to drop. It's not that the art itself is bad, but it's just too different from before- way more soft. Anyone else feeling like it's almost a completely different story? Our FL's hair isn't even the same color blue anymore; and random "plot" stuff is getting added left and right? + it seems in the most recent chapters they've begun to rush the story. This had a lot of potential </3
Pretty sure the reason for the art quality and story getting crazy so fast is because they have a set number of chapters they have till the cancellation. That way the story can conclude, even if it’s rushed to all hell.
Is this completed, before I invest
the main story is complete, i think there will be epilogue? halfway through the translation degrades so it’s difficult to understand. the plot also derails

I mean, as much as I love this manga, she DID leave Shuvil alone in an abusive/messed up home for those 13+ years. Read soo many stories where they at least TRY to help their siblings who are also suffering. Then the time skip? I guess I'm just saying she shouldn't be so suprised next chapter when she didnt even try to check on Shuvil or wth happening over there. I wouldn't be suprised if the dark mage wants Shuvil as his next body as well. Poor Shuvil ╥﹏╥
