Basically, I love how you can ask the community on here or novelupdates for recs.
Sometimes i find myself wishing that ao3 has the same function, it can even be expanded. Like imagine on the homepage or perhaps make an entirely new section where you can ask for recs and add fandom/tags the same way but it wldnt be like posting a fic to the site.
Or if you're looking for a fic n you cant seem to find a fic (either because you forgot the tags used/the author didn't properly tagged/the author deleted their fics and acct), you can post a message and ask the community abt a fic.
So many times I'm trying to find a fic from years ago only to find the author kamikaze-d. Like I had a fave dkbk author called MilkCreamTea and wanted to go down memory lane, and after many sleepless nights searching, found out that they deleted their ao3, twitter, socials and only found their works cuz some angel posted a google drive on reddit.
Plus I have no clue on how to give a suggestion like this to ao3.
What does "allow anonymous reply" do when you start a topic under a manga? I assumed it meant that anonymous accounts can reply to your topic. Am I right? Or does it make Your account is anonymous?
If you're an adult, can you also submit your school life? Example, I answered based on my life in college and submitted it. Then I clicked "submit another response" then answered based on (what I could remember of) my secondary/high school life.
