The pregnancy is already wildly public because he’s an Olympic level athlete. That alone is enough to keep the story interesting, but nooooo! Now we gotta convince the love interest that his f**k buddy has also been sleeping around and doesn’t actually like him. This shit is pathetic. I thought he was gonna finally come clean. Instead he’s just doubling down on the idiocy. Legitimately making me hate this uke.

This could have been really good, but the MC is honestly so confusing/irritating. None of her thoughts/actions make sense. The way she keeps running from supposedly everyone she’s ever loved or who cares about her and with complete disregard for the feelings/safety of those around her. Like, imagine refusing to heal your close friends and loved ones and watch them get deployed to battlefields while your whole plan is to just run away with some random serving girl so you can go…run a business or something in another country? Like, they try to make it out like she’s super kind, but she’s honestly so incredibly selfish. Highly compatible guides are obviously rare but she doesn’t seem to give af about the safety of these guys who are obviously in love with her or her own brother who she spends all that time “training” so he’ll be safe. Like, great, you made him run so now he won’t get sick?? Cause that’s how illness works obviously. /s
Or like when she finds out that Evan hadn’t received guiding for two weeks and had left to go did alone and instead of panicking and searching for him, she just kinda waltzes up to Valerian and hems and haws about helping Evan so he doesn’t literally DIE and then blurts out that she’s a guide finally. It feels like the author just couldn’t figure out how to reveal that secret cause it would have made so much more sense for her to just find Evan and guide him on her own. Then after she declares that she’ll “never give up on Evan” she immediately backtracks when she finds out he’s this lonely prince being abused by his family and keeps lying about being a guide. The whole thing just reads like the author is likely very young/inexperienced and is trying really hard to make up tension, but misses every opportunity for organic conflict and instead opts for the most contrived drama ever that makes zero sense cause they’re trying to pad the story or something. This reminds me of fanfic I wrote when I was in my tweens. That being said, the art is very nice and all the male leads are major eye candy so there’s that.
I just need there to be a huge chasing arc where this pos realizes that money doesn’t solve everything and he’s eventually on his knees begging this baby twink to take him back.
I might just drop this. I’m so tired of misunderstanding tropes and this stubborn, pig headed MC is becoming genuinely annoying. He’s doing everything he can to wrongly interpret the most obvious love signals from the ML. It’s stupid. I’m starting to wonder why the seme even likes this guy cause he basically has the personality of a wet paper bag. Looks can only take you so far.
