The last wish could have wrapped this story up nicely or it could have led to a promising second season. Instead? E we have this hot garbage where for some reason the previously love sick to the point of death seme is back to being a dismissive stupid AH that acts like he hates the uke. Despite the fact that he hasn’t? Lost his memories? A thing which would have made sense since his last wish was to undo everything he did. But no. Apparently now the wish was “freedom” and time hasn’t gone back, even though that would have actually made sense considering his wish happened when he was a C kid. Jfc. As soon as I saw Pilsang’s blushing in love face, I just *knew* there’d be a good chasing arc incoming. Like, babygirl has never had anyone really do anything nice for him in his whole life to the point that someone singing happy birthday made him fall in love? The only thing that would make any sense is Haebom is trying to protect Taesung somehow. Not sure what the grandfather did but my quotes is he’s threatening the family in some way and used that to run Haebom off. It’s pretty obvious Haebom is also in rough shape. He’s gaunt, his hair is grown out, and it looks like he’s not sleeping either just like Taesung. There’s no way he’s doing this willingly.

His last wish was to basically undo everything he ever did via the spirit of salvation but then…nothing actually changes? Like, that should have sent them all back in time?! Han gyul and Heewon would have fallen in love and Eunhan would have just gone on with his life instead of being a weird little obsessive freak who screwed up everyone’s lives. I honestly have no idea what the author is doing here. Also, I do not understand why Heewon waited so long to try and kill Eunhan. The shaman told him it was all he had to do and-as a gangster—why tf would he not have gone through with it as soon as he realized who Eunhan was like 30 chapters ago? Ughhhhhh. I really like this story but it’s got some major inconsistencies so far that are driving me nuts.
