This is the second time I read it, first time at 8th grade & now I'm a junior like Seol, lol! What a nice time skip :)
I always remember citt as something phenomenal life changing (even when I didn't even remember half of it) and I know why now. Seol is so relatable and her character developments was (in my own mind) realistic. I mean, getting judged and judging back is normal, and Seol trying to avoid Jung is also normal, it's like how they're the same pole of magnets! I like how she finally stand up for herself, it's not a nice feeling to get taken advantaged of and striking back sometimes is a must even if it's uncomfortable (Mona is right!). It hits me in the head about running away to avoid your identity getting crushed haha. Let's just say, college is not for the weak, even minding your own business (or priorities) sometimes did ick others.
On another note, I'm glad for always rooting Jung. Jung and Inho are good male leads, but Inho lacks something I can't pinpoint on, and tbh last chapter did it nice, relationship is a work for both sides, the honesty, the time, the effort, etc. Jung is not perfect, he's somewhat immature yet very smart to put his life together. Seol did makes him better. Again, sometimes I see Seol and Jung are too much alike just different growth circumstances. Also, I'm regretful to say from TA Heo to Sangchul, they all deserve it.
I can imagine how some chapters did influence my growth (I see you, Jung) and rereading it now also gives me new perspectives (my identity is in shambles, Seol).
In conclusion, citt makes you learn about consequences of one's action and what it may become later (or how it dragged you back), and how to deal with it whether its apologizing, changing, and ofc how relationships is an effort of both sides lol!
The title and cover always makes me avoid reading this, didn't expect to get blown up by the wholesomeness and the giant neon flag AHHHH
The last chapter is heartbreaking. Damn, I can't help but imagine how the seme will feel when uke die. The age gap is really terrifying in the sense that reader always think it'll be a sad ggodbye ╥﹏╥
This is why I should've avoid reading this, years being single only just now I feel like... Lonely? Huhu ╥﹏╥
Sure, i ship them before, but now, I think Jinyoung doesn't deserve Doyun. Jinyoung doesn't even have a feeling for Doyun, and he use Doyun's insecurities? What a scum.
So, reading the first chapter, i got pissed off by her bestfriend and skipped the second chapter

Yeah, but we shouldn't assume anything yet since this mc of ours seriously makes a lot of changes toward important aspects from the original novel. Even Eugene who originally despised her so much in the novel, becomes head over heals ╮(￣▽￣)╭
