Its so crazy that for the longest time I blamed Hyesung for not loving Dojin back in a way that fit the “true love” trope, but now I reread it again realizing that Hyesung has been the victim all this time. It kinda hurts to think that at first Hyesung only came back to Dojin because they were bonded and he was not really in love, but Im glad that it looks like he learned how to love Dojin.
Also the whole Byul betraying his mother thing is such Bs for me, I get why people get mad at Byul for talking to his Grandma but then again Hyesung never really told stories of her to Byul. You can see how much Byul loves her Grandma. The fault is a two way street both understandable , they were fighting, words came out, regret happens, thats family. A family that doesn’t fight is worse If your asking me,
I feel so much for Hyesung like ghorl went through so much.
i think you left out the part that dojin and hyesungs’s mom are the ones to blame cause they were both adults and both knows better how much their actions would hurt hyesung but still keep in contact with each other anyways. if dojin hadn’t done this, byul wouldn’t have secretly met up with her, maybe he would even had a proper conversation with hyesung about ‘why do i only have one grandma”. hyesung couldn’t have brought up the topic of him being abandoned but if he were to be questioned by byul im sure he would find the courage to open up but that didn’t happen because dojin is a stupid adult

I think why I and many other people liked the incest story was because the urges? Of loving your sibling in a non platonic way started when they were adults and reunited, not when they were kids. Like how could you look at your brother 12 years younger than you if your 15. But it developed when they were adults idk idc it was weird but good
