I used to be confused by this too when I heard of manga/light novels that had adopted brothers and sisters having a romantic relationship with their adoptive siblings. I don't know if this is the case in Korea but I DO know in certain countries like Japan adoptive siblings can marry their siblings of the family that adopted them. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ(⊙…⊙ )

I don't know the cultural and historical significance of this but it is something that can be seen as weird for many particularly for me at first when I initially read/heard of these things because to me whether or not a person is adopted if they are part of the family they are brother and sister no matter if they are biological or not. (⊙…⊙ )

I think that is one of those aspects of certain forbidden romance tropes that can be complicated and is something where people will either like it or you don't I personally am not the BIGGEST fan of incest but there are some cases I am willing to let it slide depending on the context of the story.(▰˘◡˘▰)

And lastly if this is NOT what you want to see between Hari and Eugene then you might want to stop reading because according to the comments I read there is a romantic love between the two not only that all three brothers at some point became attracted to her but once Hari and Eugene made their love official they refrain from pursuing it and move on.(￣∇￣")

For me even if their is this adoptive sister romantic love with adoptive brother dynamic I am still willing to read because compared to some stories I love this story's characters and plot-line so much but if this is uncomfortable and is something you don't like you may want to move on to something else.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Ahh thank you for the advice. Still confused but for now I will still continue to read as it has a interesting plot. Tho it does bother me a little, I don’t really mind if the story do indeed go to that direction ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Usually family members develop an emotional link that is supposed to stop things like incest from happening when they're in close proximity with each other for a long time. (related genetically or not)

For siblings usually this link is developed at a young age. But I think that Hari and her siblings weren't able to get this link because of the situation they were placed in at the beginning of their relationship. Hari came in just after their blood sister just died and they viewed her as a 'replacement' and had a very negative and not at all familial relationship with her.

They're not real people but if they were, this is probably why.
