Korean manhwa is so much better than Japanese manga.
Maybe because I'm so sick of "Alpha, big dick seme dicking uke until dawn" and "beta uke does not consent to sexual activities? not an option. Pound him to nirvana anyway" trope in manga. Of course there are few exceptions.
I wouldn't say much better but for me is more interesting. I'm not talking about art or any of this but storyline itself. For e.g. yuri/GL in japanese to me seems all cliche, same old same old. Of course in korean it has some cliche too but in generally is more authentic story line. Anyways, it's my opinion and no one has to agree it.
I'm so sick of the trend on Korean webtoon : rape, omegaverse, love triangle. Feel like Korean manhwa is always so dramatic, just like their KDrama. I just want a simple couple goes through hardship together or varied theme. Most popular Korean manhwa on this website are either dramatic, angsty, psycho love triangle or rapey, non-consensual.
as if manhwa doesn't contain rape too lmaoooo what kinda sissy bitch manhwa is u readin Zerxz
I never said manhwa do not have rape. Killing stalking, Easy target, Warehouse, If you hate me so much, May belong to me, Down and Dirty, Unfather to name a few. All has rape/coercion and I read them.

Yes what I was thinking. By no means I am saying Manhwa is superior to manga but IN MY OPINION I like it more.

I agree with what you said, although can't comment on KDrama part because I have never seen one but same thing can be said with manga. it's especially bad in omegaverse where I feel like uke would get rape simply because.
I mean I can give it a try but honestly what would that change? Just because I like it more, doesn't mean I automatically hates the other. I've probably spent about £100 on purchasing manga to support the authors this past year.
I can try but what difference would it make? I like Manhwa more doesn't mean I hate manga. I've spent more money to support manga artists over manhwa artist at this point.

are you actually fucking retarded? So what's the point in sayin manga is shitty because it has rape but manhwa isn't shitty even if it has rape? Do you wanna get raped wtf?
A lot of it has to do with medium of publication too I think. Manga is more traditional paper publishing and they have to be scanned to be uploaded whereas webtoons and such are digitally created. Manga artist have more strict deadlines probably and so they go with the easiest story that'll sell. If you notice most manga stories start off really well and then the endings are rushed. Webtoons can have as many chapters as they want but the story tends to drag sometimes.

There are bad omegaverse in Korean manhwa too, and rape. Like BJ Alex, Love is Illusion, A guy like you, Back to school, etc. Korean manhwa is so over the top and people sleep around like crazy and messed up shits such as Love or Hate, Raising a bat, Rent Boy, Unfather, etc. And most of them are like Harada level of fck up or miscommunications to the maximum. You make it seems like only Japanese BL have that problem. At least Japanese BL has more theme than the current webtoon trend

Maybe I should have worded better. I feel like in manga, rape and all other psycho behaviour are considered rather trivial and often overlooked by the victim. Whereas it's the opposite in Manhwa.
Lets use Killing Stalking vs View Finder as an example(most view Manhwa vs most view Manga). Both has rape. Difference? In Killing Stalking the victim did not yearn for the perpetrator after they slept or spent intimate time together. He fucking hates him for 40+ chapters. Finder? Yearns for seme after 2nd rape.

Also starting a sentence asking whether someone is retarded, is quite retarded.

I apologise for my poor wording. I agree there are fucked up shits in Manhwa as well (which is why I dropped Unfather tbh, not my cup of tea). The ratio of manga to manhwa on here is like, what? 500:1? so yeah they prob has more theme, doesn't mean it's better though. (like omega-verse, IMO, is quite shit the way it's portrayed).
both have their pros and cons. personally I prefer manga art over webtoon art, and their usually shorter length. i also enjoy owning real volumes. with the rape thing, obviously that's going to be a thing in both types, though maybe more prevalent in japanese manga. it just depends on finding good manga, which i could probably reccomend some right now lolol
I still think Yoneda Kou, Natsume Isaku, and Yamamoto Kotesuko could dominate some manhwas though. But your preference for manhwas is still valid, so you do you.

you said it yourself, the ratio is 500:1, so there are many bad ones that you read and you just generalize them all. While Korean Manhwa number is less, so the amount of bad and fcked up one in general is more than Japanese one. Just because you read more bad Japanese one, doesn't mean that it's bad. Omegaverse of Korean manhwa are not as bad like Japanese cause they don't have a lot but seeing from what I have read, they are still as bad. You are under the illusion that Japanese manga is bad because they have a larger number of manga. It's like you buy 100 eggs in Jmart and found 20 bad ones, that's 1/5 of the eggs are bad and but then you bought 40 eggs in Kmart and found 10 bad ones, that's 1/4. Just because you find 10 more bad eggs doesn't mean that Kmart is better.

um well it really does take one to know one but im not the one who generalises a whole fkn comic type and decides to prove their point by comparing the same comic type

Are you serious? You are actually thinking about Finder by Ez (manhwa) and not View Finder by Yamane Ayano (manga) when I even specifically said "most viewed" lol.... Finder by Ez doesn't even have rape wtf.

did he immediately so? I think there a constant inner struggle between his infatuation, lust and desire to free himself in KS. The thing is, KS much elaborated the this struggle rather than in LVF considering the more traditional way mangas are published. But it's ur opinion though, so it does really matter - another of those who just conclusively says so groundless and mainstreaming.
Ok so I was reading this action/shounen manga like 2 days ago and I lost it lol. Story went like this: A couple went to excavate in the arctic(?) and found an egg; it gave birth to a baby boy and the couple decided to raise him as their own.

Honestly I think it’s 50/50. It just depends on the writer

Yes, after reading nearly 1.3k worth of manga/mahwa I know nothing.

I do agree. I think I was being too biased when I posted it because I thinking of older manga vs recently release manhwa. Which isn't really fair.
I mean I can give it a try but honestly what would that change? Just because I like it more, doesn't mean I automatically hates the other. I've probably spent about £100 on purchasing manga to support the authors this past year.

arent you tired of every korean webtoon having the bullying trope in it

It's ok. you have your opinion and that's fine. some ppl here are just rude and don't know how to make a proper conversation.

I also want to mention 2nd paragraph is half-joke. Some people took it well, but some are too goddamn dense.
