I'm looking for a funny manga where a foreigner accidentally proposed to a japanese guy because of language barriers (his friend had tricked him into it) The japanese guy surprisingly accepted and chaos ensues XD The japanese guy got all excited about the upcoming wedding and the seme got panicked but in the end he fell for the japanese guy (they had sex almost daily). The japanese guy is the uke btw, and he turned out to be a rich young master.

Not the too-girly kind of beautiful, but the kind of uke who looks beautiful in his own way without us mistaking him as a girl! He can look a bit feminine but definitely not girly. Oh and every character (including the seme) also thinks the uke is beautiful

A list of BL mangas with ukes who have overprotective brothers?? (no incest!) even better if the seme has to fight the brother over the uke XD

where the interactions between the two boys (be it kissing, hugging, touching, etc) is not just for 'fan service' but it is actually implied thay they really do love each other?

    http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/yasashii_ryuu_no_koroshikata/

    http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/karneval/

Cantarella and Yasashii Ryuu no Koroshikata are actually classified as BL in the country of origin, whereas Number and Karneval are actually regular Josei(women's comics) with heavy BL overtones. Karneval, Hakkenden, and Makai Ouji are all manga series with anime that have a heavy BL overtone, but for whatever reason choose to only imply those elements. I see quite often that fantasy BL tends to put concrete romance on the back burner, because the whole BL culture and its stereotypes should not distract from the magnitude of the plot.

No. 6 is based off of a novel series that has only recently been decidedly classified as shounen ai by the fandom. The author is actually quite famous, and it was a shocker to everyone that she wrote a story that was so homoerotic - but nevertheless, just as with the relentless rumors surrounding Kuroshitsuji, it is untrue that No. 6 is targeted and marketed as a shounen ai. For that reason, I mixed in both Josei and BL series with homoerotic tones, ones with more or less canon auras to them, so that you might be able to see the different. They're all really fun reads too!

    Happy Reading! ~ <3 (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Wow. I really thought Number is borderline yaoi... all those homoerotic scenes.. 0_0

From what I can remember, there's this seme who is immortal, and he has an uke who is some kind of a servant to him. Every lifetime the uke will marry a girl and the son will take over his role.. but the strange thing is that the sons always look the same as the uke, so it looks like uke is reborn through his sons.
The seme can't help feeling lonely because he loves the uke and he can't bear seeing the uke marry another one lifetime after lifetime just to produce a son to take over him.
At the end the uke stops reproducing for the seme and when he dies, he turns into flowers to keep the seme company, and the seme never feels alone anymore..

Any BL mangas with love triangle on it (with the uke in the middle), but the uke is completely oblivious to it? And the uke thinks the semes like each other when in reality they're both after his ass ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ Much like HatorixChiakixYuu triangle in Sekaichii Hatsukoi. Even better if the uke tries to hook the two semes together but fails miserably ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

エル March 25, 2015 1:39 pm

Any recommendations for BL with cold ukes? He could be anti-social, he could be hard-to-get, he could be a traumatized person, or he could be a misunderstood warm person. Something like http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/ore_no_mono_ni_narinasai/mh/c001/18/
It could be better if it's not clear whether he loves the seme or not and the seme keeps chasing after him
(btw please don't mention koisuru boukun lol)

So am I the only one who doesn't like switching in BL? I mean, I don't mind if the uke looks older or even manlier than the seme.... as long as he remains uke from the start until the end. I prefer a true uke (who never tops, well unless with a girl I think) and a true seme (who never bottoms). Is that just me?

    Rittie March 24, 2015 2:51 pm

    Of course not.

No BL lover (puns xD) is the same :D

    Anonymous March 24, 2015 3:02 pm

no you're not. it's really awkward to read that kind of yaoi hahahaha

    Anonymous March 24, 2015 3:07 pm

for me it depends on the couple I guess

    RiriRaRin March 24, 2015 4:16 pm

Nope u'r not alone. I can't stand switches too

    I have a secret stash of yaoi. March 24, 2015 4:56 pm

I don't like switching either, unless it's a permanent change. It's an interesting plot twist to see the uke be like, "I'M the seme now."

    DreamLaLaLuLu March 24, 2015 7:31 pm

I dont like seke type . But I enjoy a lot as a plot twist . And I usually find awkward seeing the actual uke is acting " Whay cant I do you too (๑•ㅂ•)و✧" He tries his best but ends up being fucked lol . Its embressing ...

    SS13 March 24, 2015 9:36 pm

read haru wo daite ita, you won't feel the same.. it's got reversible play.. and the emotions are so truly pure and amazing that you'll start thinking differently.. obviously if you read something like a lanky panky uke always crying to enter the seme, you'll feel a bit weird maybe? but haru wo daite ita is truly amazing in bringing the right mood to right time and place...

Well I can also handle a plot like that lol when the seme at first lets the uke top him then turns the table around and be the permanent seme XD The twist would be so much sweeter if he's a chibi seme

Yeah .. seeing a normally wanton uke suddenly tops doesn't sit right with me. I haven't read haru wo date ita, but seeing the cover, I can't even determine which one's uke and seme .. maybe that's one of the reasons the switching doesn't seem awkward

    エル March 25, 2015 12:10 am

well for me, if both boys look like semes or ukes (much like Junketsu Drop where I couldn't determine which one's uke and which one's seme at first look) then I don't mind the switching.. though I still prefer non switching a lot better

listening to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMDaAhCMGew made me want to reread and rewatch the story all over again :') No matter how many times I read it the story never bores me out. The same goes for Sekaiichi Hatsukoi too. Maybe it's the magic fingers of the mangaka?

I'm sick of yaoi mangas where the seme is a complete dick but somehow still gets the uke in the end

Is there any manga with this scenario :
The uke has unrequited love for seme ->
the seme is a douche (sometimes a manwhore who sleeps with whatever that moves) ->
the uke got his heart broken/ rejected by the seme ->
the seme then realizes that he loves the uke ->
but the uke has already moved on.. either the uke remains happily single or ends up with someone else ->
the seme ends up with a broken heart. Could be better if the uke and the seme are supposed to be the main couple! Anything like that? And yeah., you can easily tell that I hate this manga http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/aishuu/ because srsly!!!
