Damn after rereading this, I realized how hypocritical the mc rlly was. First time I read this, I thought it was revolutionary for it’s time n hyped up mc’s every thought and way of thinking (first time reading omegaverse from a beta’s perspective).
Now looking back, this story was really about self growth and how to accept other ppl rather than keeping self at a distance because of societal stereotypes (could go further using psychoanalytical lens). I also liked the lowkey sort of doomed yaoi between him and his best friend. Gosh, why did they have to add in that bg story, now I’m yearning for their relationship that never happened ToT.
But I’m glad that he ended up with the boss, it was so freaking cool how he changed his mindset (view of betas and omegas) bc of mc n how it, slowly, in turn improved mc’s the way of thinking as well (lowkey they kinda bit too old to finally gain conscience that everyone’s human, better late than never ig!). They’re such a good match each other and I love they way they communicate so openly, would’ve loved for more side stories of them rather than the side couple lol.
Mc really had a character development. I also love how they added some type of "homophobia" in the story even though it's an omegaverse. It's sad what happened with his best friend, but that's what can actually happen irl.
