This was so dumb!!!!!!!!! The ML trash! He deserves to die sad, alone, and full of regret! All he had to do what believe he, listen to him, or maybe just not horribly abuse him. Say what you want the abuse was a choice, that only got worse and worse. I legit could have locked him up for questioning like he did with the girl, but no my mans couldn’t even have a picture to escape to. I don’t believe the MC he’s kinda dumb and a saint, who’s probably trauma bonded to his abuser and needs massive amounts of therapy. Story was disappointing, hated the time skip and everyone tells the MC to forgive the ML, like yeah no. I don’t care that he “suffered”, if it’s not the consequences of your horrible actions. I don’t care! Legit bye.
This manga was so hard to read and stomach. There is so much rape -so much. I hated how the MC continued to stay when he had the meaning and capabilities to leave. I hated how he manipulated and gaslight his sister too, saying, “I just can’t trust you anymore” after he manipulated and planned for her to try to help. Disgusting! HATE THE MOST ML all. I did not care about his story, his background, his past, honestly he needed to go! I hate this try of story, only when you relieve this is your old love do you acknowledge your actions are/were wrong! I was happy the ML was in pain and felt distraught, but honestly it still wasn’t wasn’t enough. Based on the description of the story from anime planet, I read I was interested, only to be met with this garbage. This type of story, unfortunately, is nothing new -still I hated everything about it. I hate it more when we finally get a strong MC WHO CAN LEAVE, and they stay. It would be one thing if there was some major development and redemption arc or something that would wash the major distain from my mouth, but no. This was trash, and should be set on fire!
Mu Qing and Gu Anxun are peak. They are cute, hilarious, and downright perfect for each other. Gu is the other ML that genuinely and consistently adores his partner from start to finish! I skipped so many chapters………. Just because I needed to read their story, and it did not disappoint! I loved reading about them.
I need this to be a 70-100 chapter series. This actually could have been a really good twisted, psychological, traumatic horror story. So much potential, in a dark any crazy kind of way.
I feel so bad for the FL, her story is so awful and she was never granted a moment of peace. She deserved better. The story was interesting in the beginning but after chapter 34, it was straight trauma. There was already trauma, but it went from 50 to 300,000. The scale of trauma broke: it was horrible. I cried for the FL. I just feel sad and bitter after witnessing this.
The way I abandoned all my plans and responsibilities to binge read this is unhinged, but it needed to be done!
