I genuinely thought the "Dark Ages" novel he's referring to is different from where he got transported and that what his sister wrote is actually a fanfic of her favourite character and the protagonist from the novel like I thought the plot would be his sister is the embodiment of good on the outside but a hardcore fujo on the inside I was so disappointed..... but I'm still hooked by the plot so I'm staying

Stop copying paragraphs from the novel and pasting it in a text box show don't tell, it ruins the flow when ur reading cuz all of a sudden there's a 3rd person narration, unless it's a personal thought of the character, SHOW the setting & action.
Hardy hasn't forgiven him yet he said so himself he can't forgive what the top did and he needs time, he certainly loves him and is open to hearing him out for an explanation. Don't be so hard on your hearts that just because your loved one did something awful to you you'll immediately close your heart and shut them out. If they're willing to explain, apologize, and change themselves, I think it'll be less of a stress on our lives if we forgive people.
