It has women/female characters yes, but it's not a harem nor is there useless fanservice. There are noticeably less of them, but they get treated the same way as the male characters (which is why it's a bit of a shame there are less), ie. are dressed in ways that make sense, aren't inherently objectified/sexualised, aren't treated any worse or better by the MC (except there aren't that many enemies he slays that are women, but that might be due to censorship laws or the like, or just didn't cross the mind to have more female fighters on both sides)

it's more of a bittersweet ending tbh, no death but leaves a bad taste in your mouth if I had to describe it. it had the potential to be a much longer story imo

My guess is she started to change. Her behaviour, her actions towards her brother and her pranks were hard to predict since he believes everything is boring the minute he was born. Her unpredictability and her actions towards him annoyed him but piqued his interest. So when she got hit by the truck, he had a realisation that the reason she gets on his nerves was actually because he had started to"like" her (▰˘◡˘▰)
