I’d like to thank 2nd life scans from the bottom of my heart, I’ve had this manga in my want to read for years without any hope of ever reading it completed. I randomly went down my want to read list for any updates on manga I’ve marked and saw this one completed after THREE years. The work you guys do is amazing thank you so so much !!
I was reading Hitori de Yoru wa Koe Rarenai, and suddenly remembered a scene from something, the problem is I don’t remember if this came from a BL or a game?
Anyway the scene goes like this: the mc was a soldier during a war (?) and did something cowardly just before that might have caused the deaths of his fellow soldiers (??? not exactly sure on the details). The part that I vividly remember is him hearing someone scream out and finding a “dead body” and dragging them out of the war zone to safety. I’m pretty sure there’s a whole thing about how he wanted to carry the “dead body” to safety to atone for his cowardice? And then it turns out that the dead body wasn’t dead at all, and he carried an injured enemy soldier to safety and saved his life.
If anyone knows what I’m talking about lol any help would be great
Is it just me or is the official translation worse than the fan translation? Like that part about ordering a “chinbin” in the fan translation was properly explained but in the official translation they just put “shaft”……. Like that’s just not correct lol
I've been reading fansubs, fan scanlations etc, and I always try to avoid official translations for this reason. Fans that dedicate their time to translating manga and anime do it with a lot of love and dedication most of the time, going as far as to explain double meanings or facts on the side (as long as they aren't those dreadful Google image translations which I loathe), companies have overtaken the scene and half-ass it most of the time for money
