Uh wrong series chapter update?
Yep, it's the newest chapter for "Distorted Soul" (in case anyone else got curious, lol), which is here:
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/twisted_soul/
On the novel, but the website I was reading on only went up to a certain chapter. But seeing the comments... now what was the reason for taking away those lines??? I mean so far I haven't seen complaints of the manhwa doing this so why now? I highly doubt it was the artist's choice to do so, so whoever is in charge of the story part of the manhwa adaptation... damn you *shakes fist*
Yeah, sadly this happens a lot in manhwas, especially popular ones. They’ll revise the dialogue and adopt it into a way that fits the manhwa, rather than just use the book’s original script/text.
There are times they also try to shorten things for convenience’s sake since if there’s too much lines it looks wordy and less appealing or is harder to fit into the scene. Or sometimes, image can speak for itself and they don’t need text to be there lol, it could be anything the adopter’s will is.
It's sad but I understand the reason behind it, in a book it's easy to have long dialogues but in drawing, two characters just talking to each other can break the dynamic and rythme of the scene.
Like why is someone demanding answers listening to someone rambling nonsense ? It's funny and the author put gayness in the dialogue but does it actually make sense and how does it look on drawing ? It's the kind of questions you need to ask yourself when adapting. Was it a good decision ? I don't think so. But mistake is human and I understand why it could happened.
I understand what you both are saying, and I must admit as someone who is reading the novel too I did kinda feel like the manhwa has been a bit fast paced? Also idk if there's already a revised version of the novel but I swear they skipped an entire introduction of one character that was in the novel but we didn't see him (the hamster dude I think?) until later in the manhwa.
By continuing this manhwa when I already read the novel spoilers lol. This is one of the very rare times where I sincerely hope the manhwa changes a lot of things and doesn't follow the novel down to the last detail. Like please the art style is too good just to see poor guy suffer even when the love becomes "mutual". Han Jei is a piece of shit and I honestly wish Minwoo would be end game. It happened once before in a BL manhwa I read years ago where the second ML (tho it was the MC's crush) was endgame tho with that manhwa it actually pissed me off cuz ML was a total sweetheart. My point being, if it happened once in a story it can happen again gdi
Sorry I don't really remember much myself, I read spoilers through older comments on here. What I do remember is that when they get together ML makes MC go through hell with his bratty and indecisive attitude, breaks up with him (I forget why), ML's family and ex-fiancee blames him for I guess going down the "wrong" path as if MC forced him into a relationship. Basically he's just extremely shitty and practically MC is the one trying to make the relationship work and has to chase after him which is fucking frustrating.
ahh omg that sounds like we are in for a rollercoaster D:
seems like mL will piss us all off..
eapecially mc tries so much to forget ML and even moved to another country, he tries so hard even rho he suffers so much .. pooe him :/ he should be a couple with the redhead instead
thank you so much for you answer
Title for this manhwa sounds goofy tbh, who thought that would be a good translation. Also is this an official tl by tappyt00n or l3zhin? Cuz if it's the latter we might get uncensored chapters.
