By continuing this manhwa when I already read the novel spoilers lol. This is one of the very rare times where I sincerely hope the manhwa changes a lot of things and doesn't follow the novel down to the last detail. Like please the art style is too good just to see poor guy suffer even when the love becomes "mutual". Han Jei is a piece of shit and I honestly wish Minwoo would be end game. It happened once before in a BL manhwa I read years ago where the second ML (tho it was the MC's crush) was endgame tho with that manhwa it actually pissed me off cuz ML was a total sweetheart. My point being, if it happened once in a story it can happen again gdi
Sorry I don't really remember much myself, I read spoilers through older comments on here. What I do remember is that when they get together ML makes MC go through hell with his bratty and indecisive attitude, breaks up with him (I forget why), ML's family and ex-fiancee blames him for I guess going down the "wrong" path as if MC forced him into a relationship. Basically he's just extremely shitty and practically MC is the one trying to make the relationship work and has to chase after him which is fucking frustrating.
ahh omg that sounds like we are in for a rollercoaster D:
seems like mL will piss us all off..
eapecially mc tries so much to forget ML and even moved to another country, he tries so hard even rho he suffers so much .. pooe him :/ he should be a couple with the redhead instead
thank you so much for you answer
The ending for this chapter, those statues would definitely scare me lol. Also was that his grandmother, the one that's apparently dead that the black haired dude took out of what looked like a closet?? Clearly his ass is sus but wtf
i think either he captured her soul (probably after killing her) or he kidnapped her & faked her death. he's up to something big. maybe he's one of the gods of death or someone trying to become one? or maybe he's another part of mc's soul (so there are 8 missing parts)? maybe grandma summoned him? they haven't explained how she got the energy jawbreakers yet.
Oh I'm loving these theories so far. I would assume the grandma knew how to defeat those beings and turn them into those jawbreakers as you called them for MC when he was little. But also the fact that some time should have passed, a few years i think since her death yet her body still looks the same as when he was a child is so odd.
Kinda confused how that blatant copy of MC was able to attack the emperor like that? I'm hoping they give some kind of explanation cuz that's wild that it seems he wasn't strong enough to counter such an attack.
I think its because of the clone did try to guide the emperor, but the effect they had was the opposite: instead of healing and feeling good, they ended up hurting him with his guidance. Our baby dragon doesn't want the guidance of the clone, and it's because of the bond that our MC and ML share. That's why our baby dragon can't accept the clone's guidance and got hurt.
The way that I've already read all the spoilers since this is originally a novel, at this point I'm just sticking around cuz the art is great. I wish Seojin would give Minoo a chance but unfortunately he just becomes a punching bag for Han Jei Most manhwa adaptations I've read tend to stay faithful to the novels but this is one where i wish that wouldn't be the case. I sometimes wonder why author's write such toxic "romances" where the person that longed for the other for years still has to put up with shit once they get together. Like that's just not sweet and makes them so horribly pathetic and it's unfortunate.
From all the spoilers I've read, honestly no tbh. Han Jei just seems like an overall awful character for so many reasons and not even remotely worth an ounce of love from Seojin. He basically puts Seojin through the wringer by being a piece of shit and in the end Seojin is the one that has to fight for their relationship and grovel to him (all from the spoilers I read) and it's just too absurd
I need to catch up with the novel cuz I don't remember this part, tho the link I have ends at a certain point so I'm assuming that group didn't finish translating it ☹ also miss when this team would make it when yoohyun called him hyung and yerim calling him ahjusshi. It's such a small thing I know but it's just odd to see them say yoojin lol
Honestly just a tiny bit surprised he decided to question Dan when everyone was out of the room, still kinda upset potato didn't also mention that 'hey when we checked the sprays, they were just fine', but that's just me. Also why is no one using common sense that maybe just maybe when the fucking opposing side decided to come into their room, that one of them could've changed the damn spray instead of assuming Dan did it. Also more importantly look I like Dan, sad the grandma will probably be announced dead soon but why did he not speak up to the gym's manager? The minute he left the meeting with that old fuck from the opposing team he should've asked to have a meeting with the manager and told him everything. Especially after Jaekyung ignored him when he wanted to tell him, and I get it to an extent dude was watching matches of his opponent to get an idea of how he fights but still. I thought her other manhwa frustrated me but this one... it's going to be chapter 100 when we see a semblance of progress in whatever they are, cuz it's not a relationship.
On the novel, but the website I was reading on only went up to a certain chapter. But seeing the comments... now what was the reason for taking away those lines??? I mean so far I haven't seen complaints of the manhwa doing this so why now? I highly doubt it was the artist's choice to do so, so whoever is in charge of the story part of the manhwa adaptation... damn you *shakes fist*
Yeah, sadly this happens a lot in manhwas, especially popular ones. They’ll revise the dialogue and adopt it into a way that fits the manhwa, rather than just use the book’s original script/text.
There are times they also try to shorten things for convenience’s sake since if there’s too much lines it looks wordy and less appealing or is harder to fit into the scene. Or sometimes, image can speak for itself and they don’t need text to be there lol, it could be anything the adopter’s will is.
It's sad but I understand the reason behind it, in a book it's easy to have long dialogues but in drawing, two characters just talking to each other can break the dynamic and rythme of the scene.
Like why is someone demanding answers listening to someone rambling nonsense ? It's funny and the author put gayness in the dialogue but does it actually make sense and how does it look on drawing ? It's the kind of questions you need to ask yourself when adapting. Was it a good decision ? I don't think so. But mistake is human and I understand why it could happened.
I understand what you both are saying, and I must admit as someone who is reading the novel too I did kinda feel like the manhwa has been a bit fast paced? Also idk if there's already a revised version of the novel but I swear they skipped an entire introduction of one character that was in the novel but we didn't see him (the hamster dude I think?) until later in the manhwa.
