Is Paula really ugly or was she just called ugly because of the constant abuse she suffered like being malnourished and was always seen with bruises?? I don't really trust the narration since it's told from Paula's point of view and we know that she has very low self esteem and negative perception of her appearance because of the things she's been told ever since she was a child. Like she might not be a stand out beauty but she at least look average but still pretty nonetheless.

I'm just genuinely curious since I'm reading the novel where the manhwa's left off and no one's just ever called her ugly apart from herself in the present unlike before when she's being abused by her Father.

I've never really realized how confusing the translation is until I've read the novel. Like the part where Jiyong was asking Heechan if he's doing chauffeur work.... or maybe that's just me... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Done reading the novel and it's almost a crime to think that Kyle only exists in fiction. Like the man's the epitome of perfection! loves animals, is compassionate, and most importantly has a big di— heart!! In these times where we're drowning in this cesspool of copy and pasted yaoi manhwas with the seme having the personality of a cardboard box with zero basic human decency, why aren't they releasing the manhwa of this masterpiece of a novel??!!

I'm gonna go through everything so far in the novel:
- ML is a simp, he does a 180° with MC, wants to have lots of kids and wants marriage w MC.
- ML is not entirely a beast-man, since his family is mixed with so many types for decades. But their main line is a Tiger.
- ML is obsessed n will be even more obsessed (+ horny) w MC so they will have lots of sex and MC gets pregnant very fast.
- The "mean-looking" friend next to the smart glasses-looking friend that MC hangs with. Mean-looking is a beast-man, a wolf who is also pursuing MC (he likes him ever since they met). Glasses-looking somehow ends up with MC's cousin. The cousin is a competitive idiot (he want to take ML away from MC to boost his ego until he got caught by Glasses-guy in the act).
- There will be tons of misunderstanding, and MC will try to run away immediately after due to it (he got hurt during the process also).
- ML knew abt MC's pregnancy since he's determined to baby trap MC (tho MC also wanted to baby trap him too). MC will find out on his own later at the hospital.
- MC is having a TWIN, a tiger and a cat.
- ML chasing MC down obsessively + worried cz MC is pregnant now, after he just searches and finds MC's home himself so he can "sarcastically" score points w his family.
- Mc's uncle ain't mad at him anymore and actually praise ML. Mc's dad called ML his future in-law daughter and already thinks he's MC's wife (LOL).
- ML proposes to MC saying if it wasn't for MC, he'd die alone and single, because of MC, he just wants to wed MC and has tons of kids looking like MC.
- MC (still kinda mad at ML for hiding info n causing misunderstanding) said "No, thanks, my dream and goal is having children, now that I've achieved it, why do I need to marry, I prefer to be single and I've never said marriage is my ultimate goal" as a payback

Respectfully, get the hell out of his life. Like how dense do you have to be to not take a single hint that your son doesn't want you in his life after all the abuse you put him through? Atp isn't that like common sense now?

Everything goes downhill from here. In stories similar to this, the ml usually begs the mc to forgive their bullshit, but Sion.... is a crazy motherfucker. They will fight a lot. Spoilers ahead (also, please take note that I'm a bad story teller, and and I have a bad memory)

1. They fought. Sunwoo bashed Sion's head with a chair (it scarred) and beat his face. This is where we currently at.

2. They stayed together again because that is what Sion wants. But Mc hates Sion, he treats Sion coldly. Although at one point, Jaeyoung advised him to stop being stubborn and use his head. And there MC thought of dumping Sion someday.

3. Sunwoo and Youngjin meets secretly which became his breather. They played games, and even cried together. But then Sion found out about it and he got mad. He gives no fuck that Youngjin is just a friend, he wants Mc's attention to only him. Anyways they fight then MC said about his plans of dumping Sion, and returned what Sion said about him before 'Just thinking isn't a crime'. Because he did not dumped Sion yet like Sion didn't sleep with him for the bet. But that made Sion mad.
“Right. Just thinking isn’t a crime.”
“But I can’t help but hate you, whether you betray me or not, whether your thoughts turn into actions or not. But Yun Seonwoo, you aren’t like that. You’ve already…”
“Maybe it’s less unfair to do something worth hating if you’re going to be hated anyway.”

And then Sion grabbed MC's hair, hit his knee so MC kneeled, and told him to suck his dick :). Then mc said he'll do it in exchange for Sion disappearing from his life. Then Sion got mad for treating this lightly. And therefore, "Just suck it once and throw it away? Who do you think you are?""If I'm going to fulfill your wish, I have to do it right. Sucking it won't be enough.""If you're going to act like a rag, do it right."

Sunwoo said that he regrets defying Shinju. If he slept with Shinju then he wouldn't have to meet Sion. Then they said really really low blows. I was so gagged reading their convo.

Sunwoo: "But what can you do? From now on, you'll just keep being discarded all your life. Plenty are dazzled by your exterior, but once they know who you really are, they'll drop you like I did."
"Do you know why you're scared of being discarded? Because you've been discarded all your life. That's why you have no real friends, and even your parents despise you."
"Hasn't anyone loved you but me?"
"That's why you're clinging to me. You want to transfer your misery to me."
"I'm just saying what I see. You came to me whimpering after being beaten by your dad. You told me yourself that you were a bastard. Are you still getting hit? Poor bastard."

Sion: "You... what makes you different? You were discarded by your parents, too."

Anyways, this arc ends with Sion saying he will not like Sunwoo anymore.

4. The next day, Sion starts a rumor by talking loudly in class with Sunwoo about mc's hickeys and was it made by Youngjin (bastard, its his), that mc's a slut, and he begged Sion to fuck him. That rumor then spread and people started talking about how mc is a slut, faggot, gay. Then one time, Mc got into a verbal fight with some guys in a restroom. Sion then appeared, made the guys gtfo and for some reason he ended up jerking off MC......... Anyways, MC got into a fight again when some guy spit on his food tray. MC poured food on the guy and bashed the tray in his head and punched his friends. After that chaos in the cafeteria, no one really bothered mc again. MC also learned that Sion crushed those guys. But lately, MC feels really tired.

'Still, waves of deep lethargy would wash over me now and then. I became sluggish both at school and at home. Whenever I tried to eat, I’d keep thinking about that white saliva. The spit that had landed on my tray. The liquid that had dripped from Park Sion’s fingers. It made my stomach turn. Thankfully, even if I didn’t eat, I didn’t get hungry. Instead, I just kept getting sleepier.'

MC then sleeps a lot, eat less and feel really lethargic. But he also don't like the attention he's getting and even vomits. Sion then made him go to therapy. So mc has to take anti depressant meds.

5. They are together again. (Pls dont ask me why is Sion clinging on Mc again, idk, he's so confusing). After taking the meds, MC became a bit better. He started cleaning his room, and went out to buy some books... GED and a german book... because he's planning to drop out and go to his mom in Germany. But then, fuck it, Sion found out about his plan, tore his passport and they fought again. Mc said he doesn't want Sion's love, but his understanding. But Sion don't want to understand Sunwoo because if he does, he has to let MC go. But he can't live without MC, he'll die. So MC said die. "What u cant do it? Weakling." So Sion slashed himself(palm), MC took the cutter away.

Fast forward because i forgot what happened in between. But MC called his mom, but then he learned that his Mom is pregnant. And mc feels he won't belong there even if he goes with his mom. The next day, everything feels like shit, he hit his gums, his button fell off, and on his way to school, he fell down the stairs. He limped and cried on the way back to his house. After some time, Sion went to his house because he's not in school. Mc cried and cried and cried. T-T. "I can't go to Mom." "Mom seems happy without me." "There's nowhere... to go back too.."

There is something that should never be broken or shattered for me, or perhaps for all of us. But it is so fragile that it often cracks. Sometimes, those cracks become growth rings that testify to our development, but not all pain can be given such grand meaning. Some wounds shatter what should never be broken and collapse what should never be destroyed.

I cried like a child for a long time. I cried and cried until my voice was hoarse. Then, I collapsed, exhausted. Si-on Park gently pulled me away as my sobs subsided. I saw his lips were tightly set. I also saw his pale complexion and confused eyes.

Seonwoo nods slighty and Sion grabbed his neck but his hand keep slipping. He would give strength and then lose it. Then Sion cried and hugged MC.

"Fuck I don't want too. Fuck. I can't do it." Sion referring to letting MC go.

"I don't want to...." "Please Seonwoo, please. This sucks.""If I let you go....""Will you live?"

And end of that fifth arc. Sion finally let MC go.

6. Last, ending arc. Im going to shorten it because this comment is becoming too longgg.


Basically, time and space healed them. They don't talk to each other anymore. They finally became seniors, he's in a different class with Sion. The rumors also died down since everyone is a senior and they're all busy with their own lives. MC finally becomes better. He hangs out with Youngjin and his friends. Sometimes when he's out of the building, he can see Sion staring at him and he stares back. But they still don't talk. One time, Sion asked Mc if they could talk. Its not a fight this time, but heart to heart talk. They said sorry and thank you. Sion said that MC looks better, he's scared that he'll forget him. MC said he won't. Sion asked if they are really over. He wants to wait for MC. "It's ok if it takes a long time, just tell me its not over." Mc said he cant promise, but if Sion is strong enough to not be hurt even if he cant keep his promise, they can talk again. MC also made Sion promise that he should eat and live well until they meet again.

Summer break, Seonwoo enrolled to summer classes in hopes that he'll be able to Sion. There was 2 times that Sion sleepwalks into MC's house (as a side effect of sleeping pills). One time, Mc saw Sion sleeping in a classroom, he was reading 'Essay of understanding'. Fast forward because I forgot again. Mc's appendix burst, he called Sion (didnt answer, he was showering), 911, and got taken to the hospital. Fast forward again Im sorry. They took the college exams, MC went to his house, they talked again. They get back together again. Ik shit explanation for the ending T-T, but I'm really bad at explaining their feelings. So much stuff happened and realization in this chapter tho.

Just finished reading the novel which was really good but somehow tends to be a bit somewhat confusing? (I dunno if It's just me being dumb or the translation's just really confusing or it was just never really clarified.)













So, what really just bothers me is that Lu Feng injected himself with a monster extract in order to test if An Zhe infected him with inert infection which makes him unsusceptible to the distortion or any other monster infection, but it was never really clarified whether he was infected or not. But I'm assuming that he is (since he didn't mutate) but later in the extras Dr. Ji was suggesting for Lu Feng to infect himself with monster extracts to fuse with to enhance his physical capabilities. I'm confused about this since it contradicts my initial assumption that he was infected by An Zhe because if he became inert to any monster infection, then why would the doctor suggest this? Or does this fusing with monster characteristics uses a different mechanism?

Another thing is that at one point when Lu Feng was put in house arrest and was shot by an anti-judge protestant (not clear if that was really him since it was in the Doctor's pov), Dr. Ji announced that he was dead but then the next scene was Lu Feng in a fighter plane with Hubbard (captain of mercenary). I'm assuming this was just a scheme to free Lu Feng since he was supposed to be under house arrest??

As much as I'd love to have Sacha and Gabin's sidestory I'd rather have the chance to freakin slap Sohan's father and run him over with a truck!!! Tf? He's so unbelievably shameless leeching off of his son that he abandoned and left with a shit ton of debt!! Sohan is seriously so kind to even stomach seeing that fucker's face.
