it might or might not, we really don't know at the moment. we're hoping it sorts itself later, fingers are crossed. it's why we're telling people not to touch their lists until the all clear is given and the glitch is fixed

Right now, any changes should be waited in. There's no point making changes right now when the restoration hasn't even been completed yet. Should the process complete, and you then want to change it yourself (instead of contacting the email in the FAQs) then it's fine to do so. For now, the all around advice is to just wait it out, see what returns and go from there :)

Here's additional info I didn't go into detail in the FAQs bc I know it will be too confusing: As I mentioned in the FAQs. the restoration is based on timestamps and not just the list type. All mangas are being restored chronologically from the oldest timestamp to the newest, regardless of whether they were originally marked as Want to Read, Reading, or Already Read.
Sometimes a manga's internal metadata (the hidden info the system uses to track which list it belongs to, ratings, tags, summaries,or even internal info the system uses, etc) is incomplete or conflicts with the other data. The system cant process those entries correctly on the first pass so it skips them temporarily. thats why some of your mangas arent appearing even though the first run is finished.
- first pass = restores all mangas into Already Read (including those originally in Want to Read or Reading), skipping any with metadata conflicts - second pass = moves the proper Want to Read mangas out of Already Read, and continues restoring the rest of the skipped mangas - third pass = moves Reading mangas into correct list and keeps filling in anything still missing - subsequent passes = fix misplaced entries, restore summaries/comments, and apply bug fixes
Ppl should expect the rest of the Already read mangas to appear gradually in these subsequent runs, along with any originally Want to Read or Reading mangas being moved to their correct lists. Some users will see entries appear in bursts, while others might see nothing for a bit. but that doesnt mean nothing's happeninng for their account. the system is filtering and correcting errors in the background
some should of come back in your read list then. and it will be mixed up. if by the time the all clear has been given and things haven't returned. as stated in the link i dropped. you'll want to contact the devs. and tell them your stuff isn't back yet. but that's AFTER the all clear is given the glitch is fixed. but until then, bookmark the manga's using your browser bookmark, not the site, in case there's another glitch out.

Nope. Not the dev mod or admin for mgo but I've had experience working on systems that's why I can get a sense of what's going on :)
