If I recall, Cecil is younger than Spencer, he just happened to grow taller than him. When they first met, Cecil was smaller and had shorter hair too.

Realistically, spender gotta be older than Cecil. But in kiss me liar, Spender looks and act like he atleast 1-2 yrs younger than Cecil. Odd?

Nope, there was a not illustrated side story when they were much younger. Spencer met Pete at the stables, then later Spen found Cecil crying. Cecil was crying because Josh made him wear pink "girly" clothes and felt no one was listening to him.

Spencer offered to switch clothes but Cecil's shirt was way too small for him, while his own blue dirty shirt (from playing in hay) was big on Cecil.

As for why Cecil was taller, it's in their genes I guess ;-;. Pete was taller/long-limbed than his age, so something similar probably happened with Cecil.
