Wow I just reread this for the first time since it ended a few years ago and it holds up SO WELL!! I wish some of the latter translations were better :/ (like when Lucas and Athy basically confess their feelings for each other) but wow this webtoon is so good that im surprised it doesn’t have an animated series yet when so many other webtoons/novels are getting animated (this is me manifesting it gets animated b/c the art is gorgeous and the story is 10/10). All the characters are so well rounded, they all have their own flaws and motivations and the author does a great job keeping all their personalities in mind when the characters interact with each other and make decisions. So often in these webtoons, the author loses the plot and this one never does imo. I even like how we don’t really know who Athy ends up with because that was never the main focus of the story anyways (but tbh the author heavily implies it’s Lucas so it feels obvious to me). Even when characters get frustrating or make mistakes, it feels purposeful and aligns with their personalities and their environment- like conflict never feels pointless or random. I would have loved some side stories or even a spin-off of some kind with the other characters but alas that’s just me being a glutton for this great webtoon :’) If anyone comes across this and is hesitating to read, you definitely should!
