They are a match made in heaven. Remember that Taebaek never stops cooking for Shinhoo, and Shinhoo never stops looking for something sweet to give him (besides sex). Well, there's a moment on the way where they separate, and for a moment, because the gluttons are chasing them, Taebaek thinks he's lost Shinhoo forever because Shinhoo used himself as a distraction/bait so Taebaek could cross the bridge. We'll see that later, but to avoid making this too long, I'll go almost to the end.

They arrive in Mokpo, but in the city, not the port, and realize there are no soldiers, only a shelter. There they meet Taebaek's father, but he's a scoundrel. They then learn that helicopters are arriving to drop off supplies or transport citizens, but they don't want to wait around, so they devise a plan. However, the person in charge convinces them to stay and help to let the helicopter take the children and the elderly first, so they decide to stay and help. They put their plan into action. As I understand it, they wore suits smeared with zombie blood and walked in complete silence along the road before leaving as a group. Shinhoo gives Taebaek's father a gun. When they're almost there, Shinhoo gets distracted by Taebaek because Taebaek's father fires at them and is then eaten by zombies. While Shinhoo is distracted, he's bitten on the left shoulder by a zombie. Yes, friends, I almost dropped my phone while reading this and crying... (I forgot to mention the urgency to get there is because at one point it's announced over the radio that the bombing attack is being moved up because the port of Mokpo is saturated with zombies and there are no more soldiers to help)
But don't worry, it turns out that Shinhoo is immune after all. Taebaek does the impossible to get there with Shinhoo in his arms, even after Shinhoo knocks him unconscious with his weapon, to clear the way for as long as he's conscious so Taebaek can continue alone. Friends, Shinhoo left him his military collar as a birthday present—remember they're only 5 days apart They arrive in Mokpo port, and there the sisters he rescued help him, and he convinces the military that Shinhoo is immune to the virus. Of course, he threatens them with the classified documents he found in the military hospital. And yes, he was immune! Three days pass. Shinho receives transfusions from the man she rescued in the past with the sisters, and blood samples are also taken for vaccines. They are now on Jeju Island in an isolation room. Shinho wakes up and Taebaek cries. They kiss, and after watching the news, they understand that Korea isn't to blame for the virus itself because it all started in Afghanistan. They stopped the bombing raids and decided to continue rescuing survivors.
There are more painful details, especially for Shinho, but in the end, they both stay embraced in the hospital room and are happy to be together, knowing that from now on they can create many happy memories.

Begin in the US after a month on Jeju Island. Taebaek and Shinhoo decide to move to America because Taebaek needs to rebuild his company and because he can offer Shinhoo a better life. It's also explained that for Shinhoo to go with Taebaek, he has to collaborate on vaccine development and is checked monthly to monitor the virus's progression in his body. This was part of the deal for him to live there. Everything goes well until Taebaek begins to experience post-traumatic stress. He has intense hallucinations about gluttons/zombies invading America and the whole thing starting over, including severe nightmares where he transforms into a glutton. The vaccines are also rejected due to racism, protests, and all sorts of other reasons for not getting vaccinated against the virus.
The virus does eventually break out in America But Shinhoo says it was provoked as a coup again. Because the military killed the zombies who washed ashore at the maritime borders. Immediately, then it is likely to say that someone brought some infected part of a glutton like a tooth and began to contaminate the American citizens, Shinhoo asks to vaccinate Taebaek with his own blood and then Taebaek was happy to have the same left ear red, of course Shinhoo and Taebaek were far from the epicenter and again they were prepared (they buy supplies, sweets and weapons).
We also see a more expressive Shinhoo, despite being serious, haha. He often says he loves Taebaek's physique and even demands he diet and exercise because he wants his breasts to grow haha. Shinhoo laments that his body looks ugly because of the wolverine bite, which left a very ugly scar and a lump on his chest. So he got a whale tattoo to cover it up. He also said it's an interesting animal, similar to Taebaek's personality. We can also mention that Taebaek used to have black hair, but as soon as Shinhoo told him he looked good with blonde hair, he immediately dyed it blonde, haha. Then we see that Shinhoo is still in contact with the younger sister, who now lives in Holland with her boyfriend. Taebaek, as always jealous, complains because he didn't give him her Instagram account, lol. Then we go to October.
They're going to celebrate his birthday at a luxury hotel in Las Vegas. so Shinhoo recall Macao, because he saw Such a noisy, expensive, and brightly lit place on a mission in the past in macao, but it was never for fun. He receives a watch as a gift, the same one Taebaek gave him in the past, only this time clean. I forgot to mention it before, but it's another detail in the main story. When Taebaek mentions that if those watches get stained with blood, it's difficult to restore them to their original state, he told Shinhoo that when he lived with and took care of his mother, she would cough up blood and stain his watch. No matter how much maintenance they did, the blood wouldn't come out. In contrast, here Taebaek had to meticulously repair it to give him the same watch in its original condition as a present.
Okay, they promised each other three days and two nights of wild and intense sex in Macau as a birthday celebration, haha, but they didn't manage to complete such a thing, even using aphrodisiacs and drugs. After that, Shinhoo decides to study at university instead of working because Taebaek doesn't want to be separated from Shinhoo for a minute and doesn't want him to expose his body to any danger. The last side story tells us that at the end of 2025, it's announced that Korea is being restored and cleaned up so people can return to live there. Shinhoo and Taebaek look at each other in dismay and decide to return to Korea once everything is safe. The End.
