i thought the art looked nice, but after seeing the comments i reread it a few times carefully looking through the drawings. i think the odd feeling being talked about it may just be the artist's frequent use of models and maybe just some traits of their general style when it comes to the face (?), which genai has stolen from many artists as it is popular.
i dont think its ai, i may be wrong, but as an artist myself everything ive seen from them their work here looks intentional and doesnt really have any ai tells as far as i can tell.
otherwise im very interested in what else may come from this promo! ill keep an eye on it

glad i came back to finish S1 and to read S2, been checking in ever since the first few chapters dropped, and it's definitely been a wild ride. deon's ptsd and the way it manifests through him is so realistic and heartbreaking,, def had to take a breather during the truth chapters TT. ive grown fond of the og artist and their work so it made me a bit sad to see them go, but the S2 art is pretty easy to grow fond of as well lolol
