The funny thing is a huge chunk of stories in the bl genre have the same kind of settings as a starter (minus one dude for most) but then they turn into a romance where at no time you see the mc (victim) show any signs of trauma or distress they ”simply fall in love with their rapist”. Here you have a very good depiction of a rape victim he is full of rage but tries to keep on moving on and even chose not to report his assault and ”moves on”
I wish more authors would paint assault more realistically, like nobody wakes up the next day thinking ”why my heart was beating so fast while he was doing that to me? I really can’t get him out of my head”
This manhwa only needs one tag and it’s HORROR! Every new chapter it’s more horror on top of the horror haha. Dude is in a living nightmare at this point that’s too much drama for one person I swear

Mc is such a cutie but oh boy he sucks as a spy. They make him out to be the best spy in the field (supposedly) but dude can’t make anything right. Plus at times he struggles to beat a single normal guy down, while at others, he has a surge of talent from the main character effect and can beat dozens of dudes still while being on drugs and tortured for days… the plot has massive holes at times, like the villain saying he took mc’s virginity when mc was forced to be a prostitute a while before even meeting the guy so make it make sense. It started good but turned really “wattpady” a few chapters in. Mc starts as what could be considered a baddie protagonist but despite all the skills he has from years of experience being a spy he still is helpless and needs ml to save him and beat the bad guys for him… very disappointing but still readable if you’re really bored

Especially the top, he is forceful and annoyingly persistent! since when following around everywhere someone who keeps telling you they aren’t interested is romantic or endearing ? I prefer tops like Mr Gu who aren’t overbearing and respect others boundaries. The top of the second couple is very unlikable to me

This has a lot of potential, the plot is GOOD, the mc is GOOD, the side characters are GOOD but then, here comes the ml, another man starved for affection who forces himself and his feelings onto someone… I’m starting to get tired of those ml who turn their one sided attraction/ love into a “and they lived happily ever after” type of shit. There could have been so much better ways to grow the romance between these two than “I want you so you are mine no matter what” very primitive and overdone thing for such an interesting plot…
What youre complaining about is a very common romanticized theme in literature, i happen to love this story (≧∀≦)
I wouldn’t find this story as upsetting if there was no romance in it. Dark and twisted plots are perfectly fine if well written and purposeful in the storytelling. But you can’t make me believe that any woman ever would end up falling for a guy that put her through all that crap. NOPE, it ain’t happening…. If it doesn’t end with her walking away from this pos forever, there’s no happy ending to me

Felix became somewhat fugly & goofy, initially he was so beautiful and elegant. His expressions were so intense and realistic but after the artist change my boi is giving fugly mug left and right. He looks either stupid or angry smh… I could be wrong but the art style reminded me of beast’s flower’s artist. Which I’m definitely not a fan of

At first I was looking at him a bit sideways cause he felt like an obsessive stalker, but now I like him less and less every chapter. Poor mc is stuck between bad and worse. Team lead is a total pos but ml is the type to wait around til mc is vulnerable to jump him. Like he could have brought drunk mc home safely; but nope!
