I thought the story was good at first but wtf just happened? Why did we randomly have all those weirdass events happening, they don’t even connect with each other. That other child/dragon/whatever the fuck he is, where is he now? Why is no one remembering that he lit almost destroyed the whole empire? And wtf is it with the celebration and sudden memories flashbacks? The writing just went all over the place, it’s just disappointing

I do get your point and I agree that he helped her and she shouldn’t be treating him like that after what he did to her, but it is no reason to be calling her so many names and wishing her to die. She’s abused day and night by her mother for how many years, although it is not respectful that she did that, she’s prob on the verge of her emotions after so many years. I don’t agree with what she’s doing, but I also don’t completely blame her bc we don’t know and understand completely what she’s feeling.

Nathan has also suffered plenty and they've already yearned for each other for 9 years because of Alex's actions, so I don't think anymore is necessary.
No but as others said we see some of what Nate went through when they broke off and how bad he had(has) it for Alex but sth major happens which puts Nathan through a wringer emotionally and leaves him with heavy regret about not hearing out Alex's reasons and not being there to help him when he was going through all those things in the past. But after things between them start to settle down we get to see the I WILL PROTECC side of Nate and bit of his possessiveness, nothing too bad just to make the "he is mine and mine alone" point clear. He also helps Alex with his current issues later on and helps him get over some burden he carries.
