Read and support better stories. Everyone's tastes are different and so most of a genre often caters to the bare minimum of most people's tastes. As others have said, hetero "romance" and porn is really tiresome as it's catered towards straight men, and not women nor LGBTQ. It's based on a binary worldview and is very, very flawed.
