I was 11 or 12 when I first ran into yaoi, but before then, I had read all the interesting ecchi and hentai-ish manga I could find ("Velvet Kiss" stands out). Because of this, I was already familiar with sex scenes, and when I read some of my first yaoi (one of which was "Sex Therapist" by Kodaka Kazuma) I was like, "oh, yeah. Bring it on. I don't remember my age, but it was either when I was 11 or 12. I had always been a rotten girl (wink) and reading first ecchi, then some light hentai, and then ran into yaoi.
