As someone who read the novel not sure how to tell you this but it kinda doesn't end. Sure we move onto new arcs but the romance is brought back multiple times

I just thought of this after reading A Thousand Cranes. If you met someone, a criminal, that saved you and cherish even knowing his/her dark side, he's trying to change though with a long route ahead. Would you fall for a criminal?
