I’ve only read till chapter 23

I’ve only read till chapter 23 (end of first flashback) and honestly all I’ve felt till now is seething rage against the ml, if I was transmigrated in this story and knew I’d come back in a few days and preferably also have supernatural powers, it would be off with the ml and that ex’s heads. I understand mc thought a bit narcissisticly and all when he first transferred but he never actually did anything rude except refuse being touched (which is valid) so although he thought those things he didn’t hurt anyone or anything so I completely understand where he’s coming from. But ml, oh ml how flipping dare he get angry when mc made a friend when he hangs out with his friends constantly. How dare he say it’s different because mc didn’t used to have friends while he did. How dare he smile when mc cried after bombing the final (because of their silent treatment). How dare he always blame the mc for being troublesome and that he shouldn’t always go along with his shenanigans when he is doing nothing. Like “I can’t just keep enabling your tendencies”, wtf how about he reflect on himself instead. What did mc even do?? How dare he never apologise first. Honestly ml in high school 100% had a superiority complex, there was no love, he just enjoyed the hoops mc was going through while being with him. HE WAS A FLIPPING PSYCHO. Man he makes my blood boil. I get the mc falling in love easily, I’m similar, and I loved every time mc wants to end him in his head I just wish he did. And what, when they meet again he’s like “what more can you do for me”. Even when he was angry at the mc ghosting him, was it not clear enough that with the mc having to move, hide away from others, deactivate his social media, break contact with everyone he knows, was that not enough of an indicator to him that this was probably because something serious was going on. I HATE how ml is still successful after the way he acted before.

Guys please tell me if he changes or becomes better, I cannot look at him without cursing him out in my head.

Why does the mc have to keep attracting these psychos. I very much sympathise with the mc since he didn’t necessarily enable anything and that time he talked back against his ex (right before the ex fell down the stairs) I was so proud, because despite being one of the parties involved in the situation he was able to see the situation for what it really was like an third party perspective. There tends to be a lot of justification when you’re directly involved so I was impressed by how clearly he saw the situation. And I can’t believe he sacrificed 10 years of his life for that psycho, such injustice. He was in such a difficult situation with the cutting and I have no idea how I would have gone about the situation but he handled it pretty empathetically throughout then asserted his boundaries at the end and it was very impressive.

Yeah guys please share whether you think he gets character development, am I looking too deep into things, do you think my opinions of him will change?

I want them to not spring back so quickly all the time

Now I don't mean people dying or anything because that's very serious and the MC is very careful so for the most part I think it's right that very few strong characters are dying. I just kind of wish that after a strong battle there can be some sort of losses, honestly I don't know how it works. But right now, there's a very strong opponent, MC struggles and just barely beats them then gets stronger as a reward. Instead I kind of want to see MC having such a strong opponent that even after beating them it takes them a long time to recover from the battle. Right now I feel like they just rest a bit, take in all the new survivors and over all after each stumbling block they get leveled up, but how about after a stumbling block that they just got over they actually don't end up in a better position than they were and actually take a lot of time to recover and become impenetrable again. But tbf with the MC's ability literally being a level up type (can't level down or anything) I can understand how this course of events wouldn't really make much sense to happen.
