I like this manhwa but it is the first one to make me salty for a female character just being phased out. The author just made her disappear like he didn't want to do any romance. Then all of a sudden this rich, successful lady out of nowhere is dogging him to no end. His friend who was close to the previous girl doesn't even mention her anymore; the mc seems to not even remember her. It's like she didn't exist. I had to go back and read again because I thought I was remembering a character who didn't exist.
I'm not tbh I'm glad she was cut off, it was kind of sad how all the side characters and her were essentially cut off like that but the way her character was going it was going to be a typical FL maiden and I totally love Yeonha as the FL so i can let go of the dissappeared FL
If they do bring her back I hope it'd to a nice awakening of how well her closest friend and crush have loved without her tho XD
I'm also salty that Sehyun was written off. But if she comes back, I hope she has moved on. Then, she and Yoomin will roast Jinho about he's still dense when there's a pretty actress thirsting over him. Lol
I cannot get over how when he advances he looks like he is really letting out some tremendous fart. Like he was really holding it in.
This is one of the most excruciatingly, pointlessly stretched story I have read. This story could have been resolved in half the chapters and the rest could have been fleshing out their relationship and side characters. But drama and miscommunication are the only tools the author knows how to use. This has been such an unpleasant read.
I want to cry. I binged read the whole thing just to reach an anticlimactic conclusion. I feel so empty and honestly wasted my time. I've seen a bunch of red flags but pulled through because I genuinely believed in this story at the beginning.
He was told by the brother to protect Iris while he was gone but he let her die in the past life. And the only reason she is alive now is because she acted on her own first given her past knowledge. Otherwise, he would have let her go through all that misery again and die. And it's even worse given he has an information network meaning he either refused to investigate the person he was supposed to protect or he knew and did nothing. Fuck teh DUke.

You cannot convince me Ian the one the author keeps showing he loved her from childghood. WOuld let her go through all that. He let her marry horward who everyone knew was a womaniser. He let her lose her inheritance. He let her get abused. All that time he never tried to get her out of that place, or even manipulate info to prevent the uncle from screwing her over.
He has known her since childhood and even when he was specifically asked to take care of her, he couldn't do anything about all that. But now in this iteration he all of a sudden can kidnap people, help her at parties when she can actually help herself due to the past information but not before in past life when she was helpless. This just feels shitty.

From what I remember, Ian escape their country that time to gain power or position in the other country so in Iris past life, she said that Ian become so powerful. Before Iris died, Ian return to their country once again and become the emperor but at that time he was already too late. When Ian became the emperor Iris was imprisoned by her husband. Ian didn't approach or help Iris cuz he was so guilty that he made him suffer so the only thing he could do is to help Iris and her baby survive by giving her aid like food. He also secretly assist Iris escape by giving her a map. When he found out that Iris died he sacrifice his lie to return back time.

This FL is annoying says one thing does another changes her mind every other moment. Swooning over all the males like she has never seen any. The author is trying to incorporate her idol background but it comes of as forced. This is going to be just what the author feels the plot should be irregardless of the characters.
I like the manga but the MC is such trash. He hasn't even tried to learn more about his past to see his capabilities.
