Genuinely one of the best stories in this genre I’ve read since Who made me a Princess and The Reason Raeliana Ended Up In The Dukes Mansion. The characters were fleshed out, the story was amazing, the ending was beautiful. It’s very rare to find a story as good as this one in this genre

It really was such a fresh read. I loved it for not being too drama filled, and getting to know other side characters was nice as well. This seems like a feel good story, and I felt good reading it. I loved this
I just really to say the character writing in this story is absolutely insane. Everyone has their own intentions, everyone is so motivated by their own causes, and we won't know them until Deon figures it out. The use of Deon being an unreliable narrator in the beginning and then slowly changing is phenomenal. This story brings nothing but pain. I feel for almost every character, no one is an absolute good or evil, except maybe the Duke and Demon Character, but even then they're so incredibly fleshed out that I can't even hate them. I am, however, incredibly devastated at Cruels entire character. I literally yelled at my phone, crying while reading that arc.
My god I love the twins. Imma read the novel for them, honestly.
