Also, I've gotta be in the minority here, but I have no interest in Potato's side story. Glad Heesung and Potato have their own happy ending, but I think I'd be scarred by Potato doing dirty things. He's innocent!!! I refuse to believe (or see) otherwise.

Jaekyung has one helluva redemption story, and understanding his background helped humanize him, but I understand why people would still be polarized over their happy ending.

Having said that, I am so glad he was there at the end for Dan's grandma. He gave her the peace of mind that her grandson wouldn't be all alone in the world, allowing her to pass with a smile. From her perspective, Jaekyung had always been varying levels of good, so I'm glad she had that and that Dan had the support through his grief.

Not going into detail on everything.

But for anyone hoping for a baby -- don't hold your breath.

There were no babies by the end of the novel.

All the feelings but not enough words to describe how much I love that little family.

I'd be so interested to see what Mao's future looks like as a being born with both Satan and the hero's power, though.

That cliffhanger got me gagged right now. I wish there was a novel, because I'm dying to know what happens next.

I feel like this entire spinoff is being super rushed. We never got a clear ending for Byul before it was floating to the other two's romance.

I feel like the obvious ends are Derrick and Liam and Nox with Yuri, as messed up as that all is.

Liam keeps low-key making the moves on Derrick.

If you think what has happened so far is bad, it's about to get so much worse. The MC ends up pushed into a corner so hard, that he "willingly" offers himself to the ML

I haven't been able to stomach finishing the novel, so I don't know how far it goes, but suffice to say that compared to living deep in poverty with his unreliable father vs. his current reality -- he is truly living in a waking nightmare.

The ML and the elite surrounding him are all sick, twisted fucks.

It's like they're trying to use this grape scene to shorten/rush the storyline.

The og LN storyline isn't a walk in the park (instead of sa, it's really heavy physical assault using the little sister as a hostage), but I can't see any reason for this tasteless edit. There had to be a better option.

Juwon is a walking red flag dressed up in a sweet smile and nice outfit. He's way too coersive, manipulative, and possessive. Miss me with that energy. Kyungtae isn't being a whole lot better, and I'm hoping it never goes much further there -- because I can't see how they won't all get hurt in the end if it keeps going this route.

The only ML worth being endgame is Taeha and I'll die on that hill. He's the only one who has consistently respected Chansol and doesn't want to possess him. He was also the only one putting the group first, for everyone's sake, even though he realized how strongly he felt for Chansol.

I am typically all for poly, but the personalities here are just not it. Gonna let this marinate and hope Juwon gets a couple good wake up calls in the interim, and Chansol stops being such a pushover.

I hope the ML gets far, far away from this twisted MC. It's not even fun to read when she's got that many screws loose and keeps using the same tired, worn out lines because she can't get over herself.

She just reads like a mentally ill spoiled narcissist, and that's not femdom, that's just sad.

I'm really struggling with the idea that tiny Byul is a dominant alpha. Compared to his dad and Sinwoo, he is so much smaller/leaner.

This is the first time I think I've seen a spinoff couple that slaps so much harder than the og couple.

Gaaaah, typically I would be so for a poly ending, but the leader and the youngest give me ick vibes.

I'm rooting for Taeha all the way. Although, I have zero clue how they're going to come back from all being intimate with him and keep being a group. It's also feeling poly-coded with the MC's open door behavior.

It's not fun when it feels like there's no agreement and obvious open hostility.

I am SCREAMING!!! Ack, so good!

Also, zero chance Muryeong isn't getting a side story where we find out exactly how he got that sprite and same for Yeheon with his sad backstory.

(Maybe together, who knows?)

These chapters are ridiculously short. Also, is not one thinking about birth control here? Kinda hard to fake being an alpha if you're knocked up... Js

Josh makes up for the weak AF omega in the first series. He is an absolute beast, and I am loving every second of it.
