I don’t understand why he’s so scared of being “sent back”. Regaining his memories would not mean his teenage persona would be forced back in time to relive his trauma, because he’s not his teenage self. He’s his adult self with a large chunk of his memories missing. If he got his memories back he would just be the adult version of himself again, still with all the memories he just made. It’s not like he swapped minds or time traveled. There is no reason to be tweaking at all, regaining his memories poses no threat to his current self.
this is literally the same exact trope as Can’t Think Straight y’all. it’s valid to be mad at the writing choice but everyone pls stop freaking out like he’ll be toxic forever
for a story named after figuring who the top is after all… after all what?? there is no switching. they don’t even attempt to switch. they take 3 panels to figure out who’s the top once in the beginning and then never challenge it
