I don’t understand why he’s so scared of being “sent back”. Regaining his memories would not mean his teenage persona would be forced back in time to relive his trauma, because he’s not his teenage self. He’s his adult self with a large chunk of his memories missing. If he got his memories back he would just be the adult version of himself again, still with all the memories he just made. It’s not like he swapped minds or time traveled. There is no reason to be tweaking at all, regaining his memories poses no threat to his current self.

Yeah only difference is that Can't think straight decided not to dwell on the angst and drew it cuter. But I hated both so Ig I just hate so called redemption arcs . It has ruined yaoi I swear because these authors don't know the first thing about what a redemption arc IS.
