It was really nice that they didn't get married just like that after reconciliation because Ruan literally did allat. and instead took their time to build their connection in the present. Ruan's development was nice in the end from the obsession to being content to just keeping in touch and seeing Clauden, he's still pretty clingy but past Ruan can't do that hahaha.
