I love angst so I actually donāt mind the angst but the problem I have with this story is thereās too many storylines going on misunderstanding, revenge against family, mental health issues, workplace jealousy, that promise to meet each other just 5 more times etc. I think the author should have just picked one as the main plot for our MCsā separation and work towards solving it. But now thereās so many different plots in season 2 alone and everything is tangled up. Art is still tea tho, I really hope the author has a good plan to wrap up the story nicely.

Maybe Iām too realistic but I seriously do not understand teachās betrayal from the start. Like I get it if itās a story about rebelling against tyranny but erm??? Yāall are stuck in an apocalypse. Letās be so real thereās no way these townspeople could have continue their current (safe) lifestyle or even survive without the hounds going out there into the dangerous environment to supply food to them. Is pride really that important in this situation, when the main goal is to survive?

I don't think it's about pride. They know the hounds are essential to the town's survival, but the people rebelling are also essential to keeping that town running (teachers, doctors, and probably engineers, farmers, etc.) The hounds provide security, but these people provide the infrastructure that makes that security worth having.
And Guwon didn't just take away their freedom, he killed their loved ones for being deemed useless, while keeping them alive because their skills were useful.
So it's not really pride vs. survival. Guwon may have de facto authority because he's the one keeping the town safe, but that doesn't automatically give him legitimate authority over everyone's lives. They can acknowledge that he saved the town and that the hounds are necessary while still rejecting the system he built. Both things can be true.
