First of all fl's whole world is ml. Not even once did we learn anything about what she likes or what shes interested in other than ml. Like shes not her own character shes just a love interest. Other than that, shes got that classic shoujo fl good girl spirit going on that pisses me off like how any other shoujo girl pisses me off. Second, ml is SO BORING. One of my biggest complaints in this manga is that second male lead and female leads friend are WAYY more interesting (ik they kinda get together at the very end but its just a sad attempt to tie loose ends its just rushed bad writing). Ml whole point is that he works harder at his job to not disappoint fl but that separates them even more, now if they went with a "I tought I was only doing acting to look cool, but I actually enjoy it" route i would be fine with it but not even once was his motivation coming from the love of acting. And im not even gonna mention fl allowing her boyfriend to go on a DATE with another woman for "work". That was just crazy on multiple levels (and thats also around the time I lost interest in this Manga but kept reading just to finish it). They never fixed the "i cant protect you when you most need it" issue (remember second ml saved her and first ml was too late when some guy was about to harass the fl) ml literally asked the second ml to cover him when he couldn't be there, it was just extremely uncool. Imagine getting really jealous because you feel like youre not enough only to prove that you really weren't. NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, I think her name was maju (second fl) she was SO ANNOYING. A nepo baby that cant handle her emotions and has daddy issues. Not only is she rude and unprofessional, she also gets up the audacity to tell the fl to break up with ml. In the Manga they played it off as "her wanting to help out the ml" but we all know she was just a jealous bitter bitch who wanted the ml for herself. What really angered me is that after telling to fl to break up, our stupid good girl fl doesn't even say anything back (only her friend says what I was screaming to the screen in anger lol seriously her friend is wayyy better). And not only that, at Christmas party our fl says that she deserved to hear that???? And at that point folks, I regretted spending my time on this Manga. Leaving expecting an apology behind, she basically thanked the second fl for being a bitch. Ughhh sometimes I think shoujo mangas are just pure rage bait.

It seems like they just wanted to end it at that point. The ending is so rushed and unrealistic. First they were apart for 2 years and apparently no relationship problems (which just doesn't happen) and then he goes for 4 YEARS?? AND SHES JUST FINE? Uhh nuh uh

It made no sense ml left that knight to die. We all know he saw him as a brother figure and they had that love hate relationship. I also dont think he cried about wanting to save him to the fl to manipulate her. I genuinely believe the author was like "hmm how can I milk this story more.. OH YES lets make the ml hate his brother figure for no reason so the main couple can fight and there can be more angst!!" Like i love a twisted character but I 100% believe and in fact KNOW that it was a last minute desicion to go that route because if it was really for manipulation they could've added something at the end of the chapter where they let the reader know that ml was lying or being fishy about the whole incident. But nooo it comes up abruptly all of a sudden for no reason. They kinda ruined his character but the fl was already a disgusting dumpster fire so her acting the was shes acting is not a surprise at all.
