Loved the ending but it honestly seemed rushed to me. Good story but it ended too quickly when it had potential to continue.
I felt that it was the right time to end it, if it kept going it might of come out as boring and repetetive
Listen Im not a lily defender because at her grown age she has the naivety of a child but yall realize she doesnt owe anna anything? Shes made advances throughout the years and was constantly being rejected, and was blatantly rejected in chapter 4. And ik its fucked up to sleep w someone after constantly telling someone else you love them for years but at the end of day anna DID reject her. Not just that but lily was sold to the duchess, so she cant refuse any advances she makes her, and at her lowest she was manipulated by the Duchess (which is where the naivety plays its part). Its giving right person wrong time since the duchess is forcing them apart, plus anna has her morals which lily doesnt know about (which is mainly y shes rejecting her). Anywaysss the person who deserves the hate is the Duchess imo not lily.
I think its just bad writing from the author which isnt surprising if you read BTD. I was hoping for something better but tbh idk y i had my hopes up in the first place ☠
agree 100%, I just feel bad Anna has to watch this all unfold because she feels like has no say in anything because she’s merely a maid :( hate the duchess sm
Oh totally. 100% understand the Anna defenders, hell i love her too and feel equally as bad since all she can do is sit and watch.
Just saying the only thing lily is worth hating for is her naivety. Like how r you gonna spend your life w anna and then fully believe she abandoned you just cause the duchess said so? Lilys breakdown is what i meant about when she was manipulated at her lowest which was good writing on the duchess’s part cause it makes her even more unlikeable booo we hate the duchess
