Omg! If you hadn't said this I wouldn't have noticed at all! I went back and checked, and now I understand what was bothering me! The slightly skewed angles!
But I guess it is more efficient that way. Drawing backgrounds sucjs if you don't like it.

Look for the slightly awkward looking backgrounds. The bridge or whatever that is, the buildings looking a little sus. They definitely know how to make it look good, but still, if you know what you're looking for, you'll catch it. The characters are still drawn manually obviously.
It's more noticeable in the backgrounds. The details are smushed together like in a typical ai image.
I think the characters are mainly drawn by hand but this last chapter there's been some smudging on their faces... around their eyes and eyebrows.
On page 1, Jiyan Yi's face lines give me second thoughts. The hair too.
On page 6, Zhang Zhen Xi's face and eyebrows looks doubled as if two images have been merged.
It's typical ai where the lines go nowhere or merge at awkward points...
This is the first time it's been jarringly obvious to me that ai has been used.
...I'm the only one that likes the story is going as slow as it is bc I really can't stand ML after reading some spoilers here. So I'll enjoy these other characters while I can.
This manhwa feels like a breath of fresh air with it's slow pacing compared to the other ones where its so impatient to get to the end... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

...but I couldn't stand Joowon even a little bit. And I hoped every chapter that Haesoo would either end up with Taku or alone. I couldn't possibly picture an ending where he and Joowon are together. They just bring up the worst in themselves. I can't even like them in a toxic way... my annoyance with Joowon was just too strong!
Read the last chapters, your hunch about them bringing the worst in themselves never happened.
...but damn scanlator can you SHUT THE FUCK UP?? Like did someone force you to translate this? Why do you sound so miserable in all of your TL notes? If you hate it so much why do you gotta do it? Its a BDSM manhwa but its also exaggerated for entertainment. If you noticed early on that you dislike this type of content why continue hatereading it?
I know people are going to disagree with this but Byun Minho is exactly like all of the guys that ever bullied me so seeing him get his shit handed back at him is so cathartic for me. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
