I think he would. He’s expressed his worry about his cousin multiple times and has been trying to reach him multiple times as well. He was even expressing worry before he really got involved with Ian. I don’t think Jo’s caring nature is solely focused on Ian as well.

Yeah pretty sure they get rid of them by killing them with another doppelgänger more determined to get the role. Which is why there was another woo-yeol who was eventually killed, but since our cute doppelgänger looks nothing like him, the fake woo-yeol didn’t know our MC was actually the doppelgänger and thought of him as the lover instead.
