Why his age progressed so fine??? Also mad predictable story which I loved. Some authors give no fucking hints and pull out the “oh look at this plot twist that makes sense with only the character keep this information to themselves and revealing it last minute.” The moment I saw his past memories, aka his weird dream, I just knew how this story would go with the idol + how would he be in the mortal world with his bf + his similar name. But I loved how later things revealed that I wasn’t so keen on picking up such as how the bf murdered a bunch of people even though he’s clearly a nice guy, only to find out he never killed anyone and it was the doppelgänger cop. But if that was the case, then why was the doppelgänger cop replaced if there was no dead people before him? Or is there other ways to be deemed a bad person. I’ll ignore that question and just enjoy the story.
From what I saw, it seems there are problems with the doppelganger and bad people detection system.
Give me BL stories where the MC drops a toxic unrequited love. I’ve seen so many shoujo with that plot, but I’ve never seen it with BL - they always end up with the toxic M.

Yeah it's tough. I dunno why they always end up with them...... I guess because they need the darn regret arc? Those regret arcs are pretty popular and most authors do it for the hype of it. A lot of readers find it satisfying when they see the Toxic ML running after like a puppy asking MC for forgiveness blah blah

In Black Lotus it's an open ending on the webtoon so not sure if they still end up together. I wish they didn't because that ML didn't really know well what he did wrong and often made excuses. Well that's my opinion however with the way they did the art of the MC and ML as kids it seems like forgiveness is on it's way and they'll eventually work it out.

Don’t we all But if more weirdo support stories like Jinx, I’ll never get my green flag male lead. Also, Secondo Piatto is a great one where both the MC and ML drop their unrequited love which was only toxic towards the MC (he was an alcoholic & also toxic for himself not the relationship) to be with each other. It’s finish, but the R18 version is still being released.
Yes I love me a redemption arc, but let’s be fr, only a few stories do it right. Honestly it’s hard to create a satisfying story where the toxic male lead gets back with the MC. Personally, I’d prefer if they were just not…sexually harassing them and just played their feelings with the idea of dropping them. Only one I found was Mitsuketa Boku no Omega-sama, could’ve had a better redemption arc though. Crossing the line, Low Tide in Twilight are all better ones, but the sexual harassment deeply upsets me, but their character development are a lot more like able than most. Our Companionship was one that I really liked the most, no sexual harassment, just plain sad unrequited love.
Oh and by Our Companionship, I mean the only BL I found to give up on unrequited love and end up with a sweet green flag ML.

Chew and Swallow is '' an ok read until it becomes potentially traumatic '' x-) so be careful. and don't read before sleep.

Why everyone so pressed that the angel did something he thought was the right thing Like if you only knew that there was a murderer on the loose that the demons were suppose to take care of, you’d get rid of them too, especially if it has been overlooked by the fucking company. I just feel bad for our MC because he has to navigate the situation while trying to convince an angel that his lover was being accused because of another doppelgänger. Not even the Angel’s fault, it’s the shitty company and the rest of the other angels who think they are better than the demons despite shoving work to a doormat.

Yeah seems like a few people agree. The actual naivety of the comments that I see criticizing the Angel is fucking hilarious considering more of them don’t make sense. The anger is real since this couple is trying so hard, but it’s difficult to agree with them since it feels like a 14 year old wrote that in a fit of rage…Like actually, this community mental maturity feels like it’s decreasing..
